There are probably two categories of opinions on whether bigfoot is real. Those derived from open source material that is publicly accessible, and closed source material that isn’t. If the closed source evidence was publicly available. Then public opinion on the topic would be different. And it isn’t just bigfoots. UFOs, criptids, aliens, etc. all have evidence of their existence that isn’t publicly available, but is held privately or by governments in sequestered files and facilities. I’ve gathered this type of evidence myself, and withheld it from public disclosure for privacy and security reasons.

This is an interview done by Bigfoot expert Wes Germer with a guest that goes into the topic of private and government sequestered evidence and some of the reasons for it:

What I saw running down the side of the road about 20 miles into the forest last Friday night at a distance of 50 to 75 feet in front of the 4×4 suv that I was driving was unidentified. It was something fur covered. But I couldn’t make out the appendages. I’m assuming that it was a bear. But unlike other close encounters with bear in the wilderness where I could clearly determine what the mammal that I was looking at was. In this instance I didn’t see enough of the rest of it for a positive ID.

I have a lot of gear that I’m getting up to speed on being able to use it proficiently. Including a dash mount clamp for my Gopro Hero 6 Black action cam. And a head band set up for it. So that when I travel on foot, ebike or motorcycle. I can film with it. I didn’t have it with me last Friday. But field testing it on future excursions is on my to do list.

I bought a new compact Magician 250cc enduro that can be carried on a hitch receiver mount that I have to assemble and get inspected and road registered for ET/ED contact work that I’m planning to bring with me use this summer on ops and field trips. I may put knobby tires, different chain sprockets lowering the gear ratios, additional lighting and maybe a gun bearer on it for deep wilderness riding.

Any time that you get into paradigm altering material and issues. There are consequences for attempting to change the status quo. There are reasons that the status quo is the way that it is. Both good and bad. Being able to change it doesn’t always mean that it’s a good idea. Or even if it is. That there aren’t obstacles to changing it that have to be dealt with.

I know the government must have a body (or several bodies) just by listening to some the accounts presented on SC- The government does not want the liability/hysteria. Imagine if the government admits they’ve known about these creatures for years. The government also states they’ve known these creatures eat people, someone’s loved one went missing because of these creatures ate them. I know I would be furious because of a cover-up, people would sue the pants of the government. As was stated in a few episodes that when someone has a “physical” altercation with one, the government officials shows up, if it’s just a visual encounter, try to prove it… The financial impact of this admittance would effect the parks and lumber industry, but knowing our government, they don’t really care about money lost to an industry if they are not involved. Legalizing marijuana has taken so long because our government wanted their hand it first. Plus, our government shipped jobs overseas and down south to Mexico for their financial gains, so if an industry has no big impact to them, they don’t care. I truly believe it’s the financial liability to the government of admitting these creatures existence…

So, I saw this posted a couple days ago, and thought I’d come back when I had time to give it a concerted listen. Today I got an error message that states

“Video unavailable. Watch this video on YouTube. Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner.”

Okay. Going to youtube to give it a listen. But before I do, if it isn’t mentioned as the number one reason, I’d like to say:

#1 ‘Because people believe what they’re told to believe.’
