Anyway, my first encounter was on Monteagle Mtn…the west side thereof. My son, then 14, myself and a good friend were camped out with our horses. Just after dark in September, I believe it was 2011, what apparently was a Bigfoot began whooping at us. This went on for several minutes as it looked around our campsite along the remnants of an old logging trail. It sounded as though it was peeved that we were camped where we were camped, I.e. in his or it’s area. My buddy was spooked…he pulled his duality and horse trailer up close to my tent and campfire, put his bedroll in the trailer and locked himself inside.
Once I got home I played audio files of known North American animals to see what was whooping….nothing matched…so I pulled up what was claimed to be Bigfoot vocalizations…bingo, what they claimed was a Bigfoot was exactly what I heard.
Then in 2013, back when I smoked, I was on my deck around 1:00 a.m. I felt like something was close so I shined across my yard with a flashlight (which I habitually carried), approximately 45’ away was a Bigfoot. I was stunned, as I went through a mental checklist excluding things it was not…it couldn’t be a person, because people aren’t 9 feet plus tall….people don’t have shoulders 4 and a half feet wide…no one would be foolish enough to be in a guilley suit coming out of my yard at 1 a.m….and no person would just stare back at me for a minute and a half with my light on them…by now I convinced my mind that I was witnessing a Bigfoot, and it was huge…800lbs, easily…then it just slowly walked off into the darkness….(I stepped inside, retrieved a firearm, went directly to where ‘it’ went, nothing, it couldn’t have had 30 seconds to go across a large hayfield, nothing. I got to thinking I shouldn’t press my luck and went back to my house…lol)
The sighting was south of Columbia TN…and I have info about other sightings in the general area…”

Outside of Nashville. I am so use to majority coming from eastern TN. Indeed a proven technique to draw in Sasquatches is to smoke at night from the back porch that faces the woods.

I’ve noticed that a lot of the Tennessee bigfoot reports indicate sasquatch that look more like Patty than the Florida skunk apes and the other southern chimpanzee ones. I hope this guest will come on and share his full account.

I hope this isn’t a trend of seeing or experiencing Bigfoot then he follows you home somehow like so many cases of the Dogman following people home even after months or years of seeing it….Thanks for your story…

Its interesting that smoking seems to either interest them or irritate them…or maybe both. The Phillipine version of BF “Kapre” is often portrayed/reported in trees smoking hand rolled cigars…. too classy for cancer sticks…try offering them a stogey!
