The show is available under the episodes section. Scarlett writes “I don’t know how to tell you this story so I will just start from the beginning. I am a retired commercial Diver from the lower keys until I retired 2016.

I used to drive South from Sumter County Fl to Mile Marker 15 to Shark Channel to collect tropical fish and Marine invertebrates for over 40 years every 10 days and then go back north.

I always took Tamiami Trail thru the Everglades loaded with a lot of fish in saltwater. I grew up in the Keys since I moved here in 1969 at the age of 5. So, it was like going home.

Well, the first encounter happened in 2021 on June 4 at 6 45 am. I was headed South to a funeral at sea for a childhood friend of mine.
I was on 41 or Tamiami Trail in a 2014 Kia HYBRID. I stopped at a rest area an old one with only picnic tables and no facilities to stretch my legs after 300 miles and smoke a cigarette. My husband and I got out and lit up a s.oke. I remember it was quiet and creepy because the sun was just rising and we hurried to get back in the car and keep going South towards the Keys. There was no traffic and I told my husband let’s go I don’t hear any cars coming and I don’t want to get pulled over by a cop if I happen to pull out in front of one as I am leaving.

So I pulled out on the road and gunned it and my husband fell back in the seat that he had been sleeping in all the way down. Suddenly, I saw a big tall Skinny Bear and I said I see a skinny bear three times to my husband who never sat up to look at it. It was black in the rising sun it was on the side of the road walking to cross it.

It took about 5 steps and then it finally heard my hybrid car turned toward the rt and walked back away from 41. I couldn’t get Robert to sit up and look at it so he didn’t see it. As I approached where it was on the side of the rd I told him that I wanted to look for a car or a cooler or. Some sign of a person when I drove by where it disappeared into the woods. Nothing that we saw as I slowed to a crawl and looked slowly driving past the spot.

I never once thought it was a sasquatch because I didn’t believe in them until I got home up in Central Fl and I went on YouTube and watched some videos on them then I said Wow I saw a Bigfoot.

I think the second encounter is way way scarier because I stood less than 15 ft from it for over 10 seconds starring at whatever that was with two giant yellow eyes 12 inches apart that I was trying to figure out what that was and then it stepped behind an oak tree and hid from me and I ran into the house screaming. I have seen a lot of wild animals but none of them have ever hid from me before.”
