Tonight’s Show: The Elkins Creek Cast

Tonight I speak with retired Deputy Jim Akin who will give us some real insight on what was going on the witnesses property. Jim shares a lot of strange and creepy behavior the creature was doing on and around the farmers property.

A farmer (now deceased) who lived on Elkins Creek called the police to report disturbances on his rural homestead. For about two weeks something had been frequenting his property. Strange noises were heard, dog food was stolen, and eventually livestock and pet dogs went missing. Whatever it was would bang on the outside of his trailer in the dead of night.

Eventually, the man had his barn door ripped off its hinges when something was apparently trying to raid his corncrib. He called the authorities once again to report the vandalism. A deputy named James P. Akin was dispatched to look into the matter. Deputy Akin suspected local moonshiners were trying to discourage the man from living at the property.

The farmer told Deputy Akin that he knew what was doing the damage, and showed the officer five huge footprints along the banks of Elkins Creek. Though all five prints were clear, four of them were totally submerged in the water of the creek. One, however, was in the fine silt next to the water’s edge and was still in excellent condition.

I’d like to say that Wes is a class act. He made me feel comfortable, he was open-minded, and FAIR. His demeanor allowed me to get this information “off my chest.”
Sasquatch Chronicles is the premiere Bigfoot/Sasquatch related podcast on the internet. Why? Because, this podcast/forum is open to explore all aspects of this phenomenon. We don’t have to agree on every thing and that is acceptable, in life. I wish more people in the Bigfoot community were as open.
In closing, I’d like to thank Wes and the Sasquatch Chronicles’ audience for listening to my story. It meant a great deal to me!

Should be a great show! Back in the 80’s we had a Deputy Sheriff here in Grays Harbor WA that was getting a lot of calls. His name is Dennis Heryford. Now he is a believer, and said some tracks he saw were 10′ between strides He also said one deputy that weighed 250 lbs. tried to jump next to one, and barely made a dent. You can google Grays Harbor bigfoot stories to find lots of stories. I wish Wes could get him on the show! Also this is where Sara Brown lives!

James, looking forward to your story tonight. there are many people on here that have had encounters and one of the best ways to ease the anxiety is to become a member and join in on the forums, there are a great bunch of people here and you will instantly feel at home, we don’t judge and most importantly don’t tolerate the ridicule or bad behavior, and we rarely run across it, so jump aboard and join the family.
