Tomorrow night: Texas Expedition

I have moved most of the shows this week to next week. I have spent the last 24 hours in the ER with 103 degree fever, I cannot get rid of it. Friday night members of the expedition will be on to discuss with Mo and Tim about what they saw and heard. If you were on that expedition email me your contact info if you would like to come on.

Hey Wes so sorry your sick. The flu season is starting to kick in. Last few days been feeling run down and woke up with a major headache with left side facial pain. Hope you have not come down with Lyme? Get well soon.

Sounds miserable–the ER I mean. Last time I was there I found a pile of DNR (do not resuscitate) wrist bands and took a few home. Do you think my family will find it funny if they wake up in the morning and discover they are wearing one?

Starve a cold-feed a fever? Never could keep that phrase straight. Lot’s of junk going around now, Wes. Not to worry, you’ll be on your feet in no time? That’s another one of those phrases from the old folks; but I kinda understand it a bit! Thanks for the work Wes!

My prayers are with you, Wes.

However, I cant think of a better show concept for this week regardless of your health status.

I just hope you don’t have that bug I had last week that felt like a clamp was vertically clamping my intestines together at times. Real weird and painful.

    Awww Wea!
Sorry you got the bug, it its hitting here too. High fever and shakes the whole flu thing.
A high blood alcohol count should kill the virus, don t you think?
    Can’t hurt. ????

I hope you feel better. I’m hoping that you’re using a regular thermometer and not a rectal thermometer. I’ve always thought the rectal thermometers taste like shit..

    Take care bud.

Take care of yourself Wes! Don’t worry about us… We have plenty on this great website to keep us busy! Terrible flu been running through us here in Michigan so we can empathize! Rest & relax!

Sounds miserable. Please get well soon. I hope you have someone there waiting on you. That is a dangerously high fever for an adult. Sending best wishes your way for a speedy recovery, Wes.

There are some incredibly knarley viruses out there. Rest, take time to heal and know that all of us listeners understand if you are sick. I had it too. Not an easy one….please go slow and take it easy. Sasquatch would bunker up too. Long nights, stress and a germ…..ugh….take her slow pal.

Hi Wes , Take your time to get well – be kind to yourself – Drink lots of water – think positive thoughts – eat the best you can – breath deeply 5 x 3 x per day and you will be as healthy as a bull – I love you’re show – have listened from the start and have been fascinated by all the stories of “survival out there’ When I was a young girl growing up in England I was fascinated to hear a story on the news maybe (it was a long time ago) about ‘The Devils Footsteps’ and they happened in the county of Devon – from what I can recall some large ‘bipedal footsteps covered a distance of 100 miles over night in almost a straight line, over hedges , rooftops, everything in its path – it was winter and the snow left a very clear trail !!!!!! Still tracking down the facts – warm ‘heat wave hugs from Australia’ x

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Wes! Lots of kind hearted people in the forum kept me entertained when I was laid up a coupla months ago. You’ve built a great community and a site that has a lot to explore until you’re able to return. Ya know we’ll miss you, but rest well and get your strength back!

    Get well soon, Wes!

I have been more or less ill for the last 2 weeks. Now I am battling an ear infection which feels exactly like I am wearing in ear headphones on one side only. Highly annoying!
