A listener writes ” I live in western Pennsylvania, and I’ve rewritten this email at least four times so far. I’ve finally found the courage to tell my wife what happened to me the past month.
I was driving to work at 5:30 am, like I’ve done the past 27 years, same job same route I drive everyday. I came upon this thing that was walking along the road, but not quite on the road but on the side near the wood line. When I past this thing it had its back to me and it startled me because I didn’t notice it until I seen movement.
And it was NOT a deer, nor a bear, I do know that much. I can’t make sense of it, after several days of running this through my head, I started to question myself. So I started looking on the inter web, started watching documentary shows, and finally I came upon your pod cast. It was a fast glimpse of the giant thing that had its back to me. And I had the hardest time telling my wife what happened, I was afraid of what she would think. I just couldn’t tell anyone at all.
She could tell something was wrong, several weeks of being on end, not sleeping and watching all Bigfoot shows, I finally broke down and told her. It was like a big weight lifted off my shoulders. Well, my wife is like a detective, always trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. She goes on the web and finds out that someone reported a sighting basically in the general vicinity, right next to a state game land.”

I live in Western Pennsylvania, too, and I can say we have had vocalizations here in from the wooded around our home. I had a flash back to a personal experience from 1968 when working as a camp counselor on the shores of Lake Erie

I left a penthouse centerfold I was. Living with for 10 years over her making me the butt of all Bigfoot jokes she could manufacture . She laughed so hard at me one night that I waited until she was sleeping, left her a letter and left Venice beach and moved to a hotel in Hollywood. I never talked to her again . I had my mom block her calls . Like I said , your “lucky “. Give your wife a hug and thank her for believing you.
