A listener writes “I was talking to a friend of mine about something I had seen in the west desert of Tooele, Utah. He told me about your show so I started listening.
It’s crazy to think that so many people have seen something similar to what I had seen. I have really enjoyed listening to your show and knowing that I’m not crazy. Ill share my story with ya. Unfortunately not a lot of details as you will see but I’m pretty sure it was something not natural and similar to what others have talked about on your show.
I’m 45 years old and have been a hunter and outdoorsman my whole life.
3 years ago I was doing some work for the DWR in the west desert of Tooele, Utah. I was in the dedicated hunter program and was building a water guzzler for the animals out in the desert, mainly deer and antelope.
I had been going to this area for about a month working on this guzzler on my days off. This particular day me and my nephew were heading out to the site to do some more work.
The area is about 5 miles south east of the Dugway proving grounds. We were heading south down the dirt road which travels along a small mountain range then turns east up into a bowl area of this mountain. While traveling south on this road my nephew noticed something large and black near the turn on the road that heads east. This area is known for a lot of wild horses so my comment was that it was probably a horse.
As we traveled and got a little closer probably still 100 yards away this thing stood straight up on two feet. I hit my breaks and we just sat there for a second trying to adjust to what we just saw. As we sat there the thing turned and ran north east behind a hill to our left. I took off in the truck trying to get closer to get a better look at what it was, but as I hit the turn to head east and started up that road and looked back to the north to get a look at it we noticed that it was already at the top of the hill and going over the other side.
My nephew and I just looked at each other for a minute stunned because in the 100 yards it took us to get to the turn it had cover 150 – 200 yards easily and was gone. Unfortunately I didn’t get a good enough look at it to get details, but listening to your show I’m thinking it was something similar to a sasquatch. It was very tall I’m guessing 7 to 8 feet tall but I can’t say for sure.
We continued shortly after up to where we were working and started working on the guzzler, but after about 30 minutes we decided to leave because it just didn’t feel right. On top of this hill was a lot of cedar trees and it felt like we were being watched. So we left and to this day I cannot get my nephew who was 18 at the time to go back to that area. I have been close to the area and just kind of looked around but never been back to that exact spot.

I live in southern Utah and have been in the west desert area. There are lots of game there, deer, elk and lots of wild mustang and horses. Yes Bigfoot is alive and well in Utah. We have seen numerous, it is much easier to see them and find evidence of there existence. There are Juniper and Cedar and pine trees, but not as much as the pacific north west and the elevation is from 2000′ to 9000′ with lots of water around.

This is way cool! My son and I recently were out hunting coyote near this area described. While hiking back to the vehicle we encountered several tracks in a canyon. We took pictures and it appears that there is a group of them in the area. I have pictures of several tracks and all are different sizes. I had never thought I would find tracks in the desert.
