I cought one in panther creek here in ky. It was 1980 I wasnt shure what i cought.It wasnt fit to eat.,It sure looked cool.I wonder how big they get?

I believe they get to be a couple of feet in length. I caught one in Georgian Bay, Ontario. I can tell you that once they clamp down on something, they have a very powerful “jaw-lock”. As for table fare…meh…It’s flesh, once cooked, had the texture of wet cardboard and was rather bland.
