ThinkerThunker: The Greatest Race in History

ThinkerThunker writes “It was right there in front of us all along, the foot race. But how could a human, IN COSTUME AND FAKE FEAT, possibly be that fast, just walking?”

This guy is good. One thing I noted was that he didn’t mention the projected 800lb weight of the subject based on the depth of the tracks when compared to those of a 200 lb man in the same soil. So this man in a costume carrying several hundred pounds of extra weight to make deeper tracks easily outpaced a running normal sized man. Makes sense. Pretty much nothing to see here. Move along…

Five or six mph. How about 7 mph? Where do I get this. I met Bob Gimlin at Salt Fork Lake in 2013 or 14, just hard to keep track of time sometimes. A great experience, however I was after information that would put Patty out of the realm of being human and one I never remember being asked before. I wanted to know the amount of time from when they surprised her and she walked off until the camera quit filming and the distance she covered. Bob had the answers at 59 seconds and 200 yards. Quick math put this at 7.07 mph.

Years ago I had a treadmill. At 4 mph it was an extremely brisk walk. At 5 mph I was jogging. At 7 mph that was a quick paced run for the ordinary human. Yet at 7 mph she is walking hurriedly, but is still very graceful and natural in her gait. If one looks at Olympic speed walkers you will see a gait that at 7 to 8 mph resembles nothing like a walk and is so darn unnatural that most humans could never achieve it without extensive training.

Therefore my point is that if Bob’s figures are accurate ( and he mentioned other people had measured this distance and time – maybe Bill Munns, maybe Bob Titmus back at the original time ) then there is no way in hell this can be a human, and can only be a Bigfoot.
