ThinkerThunker: Texas State Park Security Cam

ThinkerThunker writes “Something weird is going on here. A state park in Texas released Bigfoot footage to bolster their “Bigfoot” themed weekend. But after a close examination, the footage couldn’t have possibly come from their park. Which means “the Mystery Creature’s size could vary greatly.”

That’s a good question Richard. Something I didn’t think about. Maybe be there was a primal need that over-road his judgement or for example we know that all these creature don’t look the same so I would assume they all don’t think the same and behave the same. Could be it has gotten complacent. Clarity is always rare when it come to this stuff. I do agree with you. For now, I’m not completely sold either. We just have to work with what we got. That’s just the nature of the beast, lol. Sorry that last line just seemed like it applied.

Awesome, I just saw this last night and found it interesting for new video footage worthy of investigating. It’s worth watching more than one time because there are just things you don’t see the first time unless its pointed out to you. But still after that fact you still have your guard up and reserve the option for other possibilities because we are not the one having the first hand account.
I am sure this will not be the last we see of this video break down from ThinkerThunker. There’s more there he eludes to. Hope we get to see a part 2. Thanks Wes, its cool to see things that catch your attention.

@Steven B You got that right! But just speaking in general if this is a hoax, misidentification, or not. If they have human dna they can make mistakes. Heck! for that matter I’m not sure what doesn’t. Except for God.

Good post. Some thoughts. While it seems quite true that game cameras repel these chaps, this seems to be a CCTV without infrared trigger, so there’s that. There are many reports that defy the creatures’ reputation for stealth. Also, the arm length, cupped hand seem sasquatchesque. It appears to walk like a heavy creature, and seems to have a shorter lower leg (proportionally) than a human. It seems to reach it’s leg forward and to pull itself along, unlike humans.. I sure could be wrong but those are my quick impressions.

I really enjoy these. A funny guy with some nice software. That camera is way above the subject. I wouldn’t expect it would notice, even if it was an infrared type. My 0.02 cents.

I saw this yesterday on Youtube. My initial reaction is fake and hoax. Something seems off in the way it walks. It seems to upright and willing itself to walk in a specific way that just does not seem to be smooth and athletic, that I would expect out of a Sasquatch. Also, in the comment section there were some people that showed this area it walks across is not the same and distance that TT thinks it is. I don’t know. I have thought for years that if I wanted to try and film a Sasquatch, placing the camera up high and out of sight would be the best way.

I love his breakdowns and analysis. I would question his 14ft height though, mainly because that would make the double center lines quite wide as well? I know everything is bigger on Texas, but even the way they paint roads?

It walks odd, and Thinker Thunker has messed up on measurements before. He noted this was part of a promotion for a bigfoot theme at the state park, to garner interest. It looks like someone in a suit walking in a silly gate.

You are a critical thinker Knobby and I share your assessment. And indeed, TT has messed up a number of videos in the past and then attacked those who showed why and how he was wrong. The Yellowstone Park camera was an epic one, as was the turkey hunter videos of 6 or 7 years ago. You can not just move objects around on a screen based what you think another objects dimensions are. In most cases they have to be accurately measured. I did not realize there was a Bigfoot promotion for this park. Last year around this time the DNR of Ohio did a 4 part series on Bigfoots in Ohio. One garnered over a million views, and other well watched.

The figure looks like a guy in a suit. The way he walks is a man stride, not a Sasquatch stride, according to reports we’ve all heard. I can’t believe TT even posted this short catch. Also, makes me wonder, if it’s on a State Park cam, where? I mean, Texas is a gig place. Just sayin’…

If this was put out by a park to promote a bigfoot event, and the film didnt come from that park, as it is claimed, are both red flags. The video itself is inconclusive due to poor quality.

^ the sight of the guy in the suit walking in man strides, and the suit so loose on him makes me marvel that TT even considered the “sighting” as real in the first place. He gives and update later proving it was a hoax. Yes. Another hoax.
