The town of Portlock, AK is a ghost town due to all the citizens moving away. The story is that they moved, due to being scared by sasquatch.

There’s just something EXTRA creepy about an abandoned, cold Alaska town (due to Sasquatch).

The tribe that once lived there warned the whites and why they moved away. The whites thought it simple native superstition, till men went missing or were found ripped apart as they had been warned about. The things started getting closer to town even entering the city limits. There is more to the story than this gives.
