The Strange Disappearance of Carl Robert Disch

This is not bigfoot related but I found the story very interesting. Scientist Carl Robert Disch vanished from his sub-station in Antarctica on May 8, 1965. This video explores the strange circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

Damn just imagine if there were snow yeti’s on Antarctica living off of penguins seals and scientists! I don’t think I could handle that kind of isolation,I would at least need internet so I can listen to my SASCHON!

Umm…….interesting but blizzards in low visibility IN ANTARCTICA are no joke when all you have is a life line to hold onto FOR a MILE….I’m a UFO and Squatch believer but this could be explained by disorientation, low vis, extreme temps…..but then again…….I’ve seen “the Thing” creepy

Very creepy . I agree that this could well be an alien abduction – a perfect opportunity to abscond with a physicist…. But the generator-like sounds are peculiar, with noise rarely ascribed to UFOs. Very strange, sad case.

1930 Lake Anjikuni mass disappearance of the Inuit Village incident was. Is the only remotely correlated event, it was 25 years earlier and near to the opposite Pole. Canadian fur trapper named Joe Labelle sought refuge from the bitter sting of the arctic cold “Trudging though the fresh snow, Labelle cautiously approached the silent village in search of shelter. Still steaming, gray streaks emanated from a charred pot of stew and eerily wove themselves through the night sky. Clearly, Labelle mused, someone had to be around. Searching further, Labelle checked the huts and found clothing and food (two things you certainly wouldn’t leave behind if abandoning a village), both in large enough amounts to last the Intuits through winter. And yet, Labelle didn’t come across a single soul or sled dog; and what’s more, no footprints lay in the snow.” It was reported in greater detail, to include the eerie abandonment of an entire village, food still on the stove, upon plates at tables, all of the frozen graves old and new were opened, emptied, with the rocks stacked neatly in piles, all but for one, the grave of the late beloved chief, which was still closed, yet the snow and ice had melted upon the mound, giving off a strange glow. The Canadian Mounties and search party as well as the dogs of the search party that arrived, refused to open that glowing grave site or to get close to it, there wasn’t a brave enough Man among them . Not far from the village, along the shore of the Lake, was a trading post, the odd man that resided in the trading hut was gone. But his dog remained, the dog was found with red lipstick upon its muzzle, and a gold wedding band shoved hard up its paw. Prior to the arrival of the search team, there were strange orbs seen in the arctic sky, the same strange orange orbs that were said to have been witnessed swirling and arcing the night skies over Dyatlov Pass, 29 years later in Russia.

Sounds like Alien abduction; interestingly have been listening carefully to Dave P interviews and he says things that hint at abductions related to his missing people. Am not sure I believe in Aliens but someone tracks stopping in an airfield in -45F weather is suspicious. Thanks Wes!

    Hello,

I want to point out living in Wisconsin the weather gets pretty brutal. I’m sure it’s not as severe as the Antartic but I’m sure he was experienced with snow and cold his whole life. The point about the dogs is very telling. It’s obvious the search teams did a good job. Weird.
