One of my all time favorites! The Spottsville monster was (or is) a terrifying beast and I am so glad the thing didn’t get any of the Nunnelly’s.. And the police wouldn’t help, although some of them probably knew the creatures were real, but were too scared to do anything about them.

I grew up in Kentucky in the seventies and was a huge Bigfoot fan and always was gracious that these things were far away in California and Oregon. All these years later I find that they were all around me!! Glad I didn’t know that back then as I would never have been able to sleep. Also this Spottsville creature is certainly intriguing because it definitely looks more like a Neanderthal rather than a classic Sasquatch. I wonder if it could be a product of inbreeding or something to that effect. Very creepy nonetheless!
