Where have you been? I emailed you a couple weeks ago.
I was born and raised in Akron, but never heard of Blue Lake nor the Muck Monster.
However, there is Indigo lake in the CVNP…Hmmm.
There are stories of the Grassman near Kenmore.
Also, FYI, Hartville is rather close to Minerva, OH.

I think the Minerva monster sightings occurred not long after this sighting too. The Akron Beacon Journal published a couple of articles around then too even though most were in the Canton paper. Going to try and look them up. Somehow I lost the articles I clipped as a kid during the last 35ish years (lol). Most gravel yard ponds arent named so i bet it is what they called it locally. The clear spring fed water probably reflected the sky vividly hence Blue Lake. Just speculating. Email you later today. My bad.
