The hair changed from brown to a silvery gray around its chest

I want to thank Dan H. for posting this story in the group. The report is as follows:

“I was out deer hunting in the woods with my son and son-in-law. We took two cars, theirs had a rack so I sent them ahead with our deer. I was taking my own sweet time coming off the mountain. It got dark, I blew a tire, they were gone, I was stuck! I wasn’t scared, I thought they’d figure it out when they got back to the road and didn’t see me behind them. I didn’t have a spare so I just thought I’d catch a nap until them came back for me.

I don’t know how long I was sleeping when I felt my truck tip toward the right. I thought maybe they’d come back and was trying to wake me up. I was groggy and didn’t feel like moving. I adjusted myself to get comfortable. The truck tilted again off the driver’s side wheels. My head slumped and hit the dash. That was an odd angle. I twisted my body to keep from rolling toward the passenger’s side and the gear shift stuck me on the side. I was pinned in an awkward position but that wasn’t the worst of it!

I was half way on my back, bent over to my right and staring straight up into a huge, brown, hairy face with big black eyes looking right at me! I think my mouth and eyes were wide open. This wasn’t my son or son-in-law staring down at me! This was real! Real unmentionable! The long hair hung over it’s forehead, its face looked kind of curious at me but it was frightening being watched by this thing! The nose was really dark, almost black. Its neck was thick as a gallon can and the shoulders were massive! The hair changed from brown to a silvery gray around its chest. It was holding my truck up by the corner of the cab with one big arm.

It slowly set my truck down but kept staring at me with its black eyes. Another one came up behind it. It was darker and seemed shyer, not wanting to get too good a look at me. When it set the truck back on the ground, it kept looking at me laying there in a weird position. We couldn’t take our eyes off each other. My ears started ringing and my eyes watered up. I was crying and couldn’t control my body fluids. Then its lips spread apart in a wide smile. I could see its teeth. They were more human teeth than animal. Its jaws were thick like it could bite threw bone easy. It scared me but kind of hypnotized me. I got the feeling like it didn’t want to scare me, felt pity for me but wondered what the hell I was doing there when I shouldn’t be there.

Then I heard a low noise coming. The face looked up, backed away and was watching something coming. I heard a very distant hollow echo. The face backed away, the dark one behind it faded into the trees. The noise got closer, I recognized it was a motor running. It’s like all my thoughts left me then were returning. (Something that can scare your thoughts away has power nobody can even realize.) My son’s truck lights were bouncing closer then I heard a grinding sound. He started blowing the horn. I sat up and looked back. They wouldn’t get out of the truck.. They were motioning me to come but I was scared to get out.

I waved at them to come closer, they did and I got out and ran like my heels were on fire. They unlocked and locked the door like ten times before they let me in. I got in and told them to haul @$$ out of there! We bounced all the way down the mountain. I told them what happen. They said they seen it when they pulled up. It looked right at them. My son-in-law said he thinks he saw like five big shadow forms standing around there but they faded the closer they got. They didn’t want to come close but thought I was dead in there. I told them I almost was. They said I smelled like I was. I forgot I sweated and wet myself.”

That’s a person with a story that I’d like to hear told on the show. You don’t get encounters any closer than that! He is lucky it wasn’t one of the angry or hungry ones! Yeow

Sounds like he was lucky enough to run into Harry Henderson. To think I’ve done this so many times sleeping in my pickup out in the woods. I avoid doing it now.

Whoa! That’s crazy! So the squatch looked at him with pity? Did he pity him because he was about to be gone? Guess they still could have grabbed him, but they probably knew there was a good chance the guys in the truck had guns and that at least some of them faced sure injury or death if they pushed their luck. What a horrifying encounter. It really makes me wonder about vehicles found deserted on the side of the road with all contents inside except the driver….

I wonder what the smile was all about? What would have happened if the other truck didn’t return? Dutch, let’s hear that interview! I love reading your squatch interviews!

I think the big males in a curious family don’t seem that aggressive. A bit like the Ostman story. It’s the ‘rogue’, or lone males that tend to be the territorial/aggressive ones. Or maybe I’m wrong.

I also think this guy would be a great guest too!

I think they knew he needed help and was willing to help,no telling what the others were thinking but there are good ones out there.maybe someone helped one of his or him earler in his life…. who knows.i do know what they can do and it can go either way, just my thoughts.

Get him on Wes , one could only hope that they were dreaming, but in this guys case he had to live it. Seems like getting a flat tire out in the woods on your own is the last thing you want to have happen. Can you imagine waking up and having this thing staring at you. I can see where in some of these 411 cases the determined cause of death per Paulides is ” having possibly been scared to death “

I interviewed a sasquatch who encountered a human homoerectusnappyhairdess who displayed some interesting behavior .Larry writes This is my 3rd encounter some people remember me ” Larry” as the squatch who encountered Bear and the favorite’s blg where I was in a future episode with an encounter with a women wearing a belt wallet chain, Pam purple rose remembers that one as she thought it was in Oregon . so I was sitting on my back and entertaining some five or six other fellow hunter gathers and we hear a loud bang and everything went quiet… I knew what it was and I say gentlemen that there prime USDA deer meat for the taking so we head out and I hear a metallic howl and I say, crap they done run off with the meat… I began to continue to share exiences in east Texas and as I am walkin and talkin I got to noticing a smelly carrier , one of those things the homos sit in and get carried around in I say hey lets look in and see if there is food. Sure enough after I picked it up I see a thing movin around , but I got to noticing it’s eyes , its eyes were evil and sinister , and it is staring at me hard and I am like in a trance I got the feeling if I kept looking at it it was gonnia bring its bang stick into play and everyone is saying com on Larry what do you see , and I am pissin my fur and about to lose my scat when I hear a faint murmur and it grows in intensity and I say we gotta go and I tell my squath bitch next to me to get the F in the woodline and I say “Yea if this other carrier had not have come I was gonnia kick this things ass so I show it my teeth to indicate I am cool and not a cavity creep, and as those waking hour light hits me I flex and stare and thank goodness my mate yells “Squirrel” so that was my out and I walked away cause if I ran I just knew this would have become a predator prey issue and I was on the menu……Thank you Wes for sharing and letting me tell my story, they might not have hair , but I look at the woods differently since these encounters……………..Larry

I agree, he’d be great on the show.
I wonder if the Bigfoot’s chest hair colour was age related or status related, like silverback gorillas. I too doubt the ‘smile’ was a friendly gesture, more likely a threat.

Loved the intelligent smile…… That same scenario, I’ve heard couple times before… Tipping vehicles, while people slept… Messin w/sasquatch???…… I think its the other way around….Ciao

    Why Chimpanzees Smile.

When a person smiles or frowns, you usually know what it means. The human face expresses a wide range of moods and emotions. The face of a monkey or ape expresses many emotions, too –but it’s easy for a human observer to be fooled.

Jane Goodall studied the facial expressions of wild chimpanzees in Africa. As she watched the animals, she learned to recognize feelings like fear, anger, joy and frustration in a chimp’s mobile face. For instance, if a chimp is angry or intends to attack, it presses its lips together tightly. If it’s in a friendly mood and wants to be groomed by a companion, it purses its lips and pushes them forward in a pout. In the chimpanzee’s world, a pout is both a greeting and an invitation.

When a chimp opens its mouth, pulls back its lips, and shows its teeth, it appears to be smiling or grinning. But its grin isn’t assign of pleasure. Instead, a grinning chimp reveals fear. A chimp grins during and after an attack, or when a stronger chimp threatens it. Grinning is almost always accompanied by loud screaming. History doesn’t record whether Ham the astrochimp was screaming when he landed on earth, but his wide grin showed clearly that he was scared out of his wits.

If a chimp keeps its teeth closed when it grins, it is more nervous than frightened. This kind of grin is accompanied by squeaking sounds and whimpers. A low-ranking chimp approaches a higher-ranking one by displaying a closed grin, which is very much like a nervous smile in a human.
