The face is the ugliest thing I have ever looked at

A listener writes “Because of my careers I have been hesitant to write down any of my encounters. I have had several incidents starting in 1988 at the age of 14, going through to 1996 all in my home town in Northeast Ohio. None of the encounters were solo, as I would never go into the woods alone. I don’t think I can do the stories justice typing them out. But would like to talk to you, if you have the time.”

Spoke to the witness and he describes a couple of encounters including one where the creature blocked their path to leave. The witness says “I got a really good look at this thing and it is the ugliest thing I have ever looked at. They are disgusting in the face.

I’m from NE Ohio…lots and lots of sightings at West Branch State Park. I’ve had many encounters there Night Fishing…chased out…boulders thrown…

I was with this witness on several of the sightings. Haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but as soon as I read the description I knew who it was. I’ve got a few stories, as well as the encounters from my perspective.

I know they vary in appearance but I dont think I’ve heard anyone say they are beautiful. Some describe a “mongoloid” feature, others say an “evil” expression. Whatever they are, I don’t think they are happy to see us, hence the sour face? Who really knows? The mystery deepens, eh?

To the east of Cleveland there is a quite big Amish population scattered around. They keep there homesteads dark at night. If someone could gain their trust there has to be stories they could tell.

I’ve heard a couple of accounts where the witness says the creature is clean, well-groomed, shiny, even beautiful. It could be that they are like humans, as some people are posh and wear couture and some people are stank and ugly, but most are somewhere in-between.
