The creature chased our car

Trey who is one of my favorite researchers sent this to me “I just received a report which I will be following up next week since I never get anytime off work. Close to the national forest where I do my “research” if you wanna call it that. A guy and his GF were driving down this mountain road which im familiar with. Something was running diagonally through a field toward their car on 2 legs. The male driver slowed almost to a stop thinking it was maybe someone in need or something. It being dark he couldn’t tell it wasn’t a person til it got right up to their car.

He said when it was 25-30 yards away he realized it was way too big and moving way too fast to be a person. He dropped it in gear and punched it. Now here’s the kicker. They had rolled their windows down as they stopped to get a better look or listen for someone yelling for them. 30 yards away when he floored his 4 wheel drive to leave and before he could get up to speed to get away the creature had already made it to the vehicle and it stuck is arm inside and started to grab his GF’s arm. These are people that didn’t believe in BF until this night. He was just getting up to speed when it reached in and put its hand on his GF’s arm. I don’t believe it actually grabbed her cause she was able to scoot over on his side of the vehicle and if it would have she would have been pulled out but when it reached in they saw it was covered in black or dark dark brown hair. Right at this point he finally got enough speed up to get away.

He said he wasn’t sure if it chased them because his girl was so hysterical he only got to look in his rear view mirror once and it was so dark he couldn’t tell if it was coming or not. He didn’t look back because he was trying to calm her down while he was breaking the sound barrier headed down this mountain road. He gave me directions to get to this place and im trying to get him to go with me so he can map out how everything went down. If he does I’ll make a video or slideshow about it and get back to you. Do you think this was a territorial display or do you think it really meant to yank her out of the car. I told him it was just a display to kinda reassure him and get him to tell me the details but I gotta be honest, it seems to me it wanted to grab her out of the vehicle. But, then again, if it was able to touch her I would think it would be able to do as it wished with both of them. Anyways I’ll check it out in a week or so and let you know any evidence or anything at all that I find”

      This is totally aggressive. However, I can’t help but still thinking about “We need help” episode. My initial thought was to kill the leaders but after long thought, I think that these two brothers are damn near part of the troop. If the big grey is there watching his youngsters playing on their roof of the house, they obviously think the environment is safe…
      He charged them just like he probably did to the other males in his troop at one time or another as just part of the pecking order- if you will.. If this is indeed the case then they have an opportunity to enhance their relationship with the troop and would be in the best place to prove their existence once and for all…

    Thats completely crazy. What part of the country was it in? There has been reports of these creatures doing such things, I think on indin reservations in Oklahoma. This guy has got to come on the show to tell his story

    If he put his arm in, it must have been
    counting coup OR
    he was trying to grab the girl OR
    he was trying to grab the wheel to flip car or something

    That is the first time I ever heard that particular kind of encounter. Pretty insane.

    That’s a crazy scary encounter! It seems like what Duke talks about with them “counting cooh”. Maybe it was really trying to get her but they seem to be such skilled hunters that if it could touch there would be flesh removed at the least if abduction was the goal. Guess more details would help but how freakin scary either way. Got me thinking, could the native warrior game of marking or touching an enemy and escaping, AKA counting cooh, possibly originated from what the forest giants did to the natives?

    That is one reason why I always have a side arm with me.. I would not care if it was a territory dispute or maybe the sub human cannibal was just hungry, I would have put some high performance “liberty Defense ammo” into his side… It will go through FBI grade three body armor and would have definitely made his day..

    Trey, when you go up there to the area- take a mannekin/doll (ok, a blow up doll-you 3rd graders!) and have her sitting in the pasgr. seat w/window down.
    Cover her in Bacon grease 1st though- BF aphrodisiac.

    There are still a lot of things I need to do with this encounter #1 going to the sight to see where it happened. He really didn’t wanna tell me and waited til we were alone before he did because he knew I had an interest in this subject. I’ll try my best roger him to come on the show but im having a hard time right now even getting him to go back out to the spot with me.
    I agree with what was said above I don’t believe this was an attempted kidnapping just a scare tactic or counting cooh as the outlaws would say because it had her if it wanted her, probably had both of them. This was in the mountains of E. Tennessee and I’ll let Yall know when I get some more info such as pictures or video from the site

    Bring guns, bring cameras, bring poison bait and leave it behind where only a tall biped can get it. Like Sleeping beauty – a poison apple does the trick. If it reached in the car – look for any physical evidence – prints, hair etc.

    Who wee. Now that’s a very startling experience to say the least. Yes I do agree with Michael & Kenneth to bring guns. Guns with HP shells . 12 ga. Slug. & Buck. 44 mag. Pistol smallest in Group. 308 AR 10 smallest rifle in group. 338 or 300 winmag. This stuff is not gona touch my friends or me. Well not without first feeling what pain is. Good luck. Be Xtra vigilant for sure. They seem kinda pissed off in them hills out there.

    Trey, definately go to the site and get some pics or video of where the encounter occurred. That is a wild encounter and I agree if that booger wanted her, he had her. He could have one handed her right out of the car. I wonder what speed your friend was traveling at when the booger put his hand in the car. Probably hard to determine in the adrenaline rush of the moment. Note to self: never ride in convertible with top down in the Smokey Mountains at night. That definately falls into the “scary ass” encounter category.

    He said he was in 2nd gear when the arm came in the window so I’m guessing 20-30 mph being in an old 4 wheel drive truck. When the arm came in is when he hit Mach 3 and got the heck out of dodge. He was thinking it was gonna stop or at the worse hit his vehicle. He said it never crossed his mind it would stick it’s arm in the window like that. I will be going there when I get a few days off of work but he’s still not completely committed to going with me even so he gave me directions to the exact spot and I’m kinda familiar with that area so yes I’ll post some pictures and maybe a video too if I can. Scary scary stuff man. I failed to mention that he did have a long gun in the truck but he said he didn’t even think of grabbing it all he could do was try to get out of there as fast as possible.

    It comes back to what Wes was talking about in a past episode. They people were doing nothing to provoke it or anything it seems as though just the noise of the vehicle coming down that road ticked it off. I don’t understand cause you know as good as their hearing is they have to hear cars from miles away yet only a few reported cases of them charging cars or bikes or atvs

      I heard a past episode where Wes was talking about these bikers going to a biker bar in the woods. They had to go down a dirt road in the woods off the highway to gwt there. For some reason once in a while a lonley biker would get pushed or thrown off his bike as he went down this road. The bikers thought it was the loud noise from the bikes that pissed this thing off. So maybe if the vehicle you were in was loud then that might have been the trigger that set this creature off.

    Trey, next time you talk to them ask if they had any food, or fast food containers in the truck. Also, I’m curious as to whether or not Wes and Woody had any food in their vehicle when they had their encounter? If these creatures can sniff out food from great distances as bears do….could the aroma of food be the reason for some encounters?

      Good question I didn’t even think to ask. I’ll try to figure that out as well. If it’s the same truck from last fall then it may have had a slight smell of dead deer in it cause he got a deer last year I’ll ask next time I talk to him

    Possible territorial rogue with sinister intent. I recall an encounter from one of those Alaska TV shows where a motorist drives up to an empty car on the road. Drivers door is open with blood on windshield and along the door panel. The witness hears movement in woods ahead of him and spots a large creature walking toward him. He then immediately runs for his car and speeds away. You never can be too sure of these beasts.

    Hello, I think it tried to kidnap her. To yank her out of the car would still take footing. Rate times speed times distance. I would guess the vehicle was going just fast enough the sasquatch was unable to get a grip. My speculation is if they were going slower or parked they would be in the next 411 books. I wonder how many people are abducted on the side of the road. The thing that bothers me the most about these creatures is how they watch us and their fascination with women and children. Bob

    Counting Coup? Maybe, but what our native friends have told us makes it seem like the objective is to touch a human WITHOUT THEM KNOWING IT, clearly not the case in this situation. I hate to alarm people, but it seems that it wanted to scare them away at the very least, and MAY HAVE intended to grab the passenger. Be damn careful when you go back there, Trey. Go in the day, don’t go alone.

      Don’t worry I always check out an area in the daytime first and definitely not alone, plus I’ll be packin but honestly after doing all that as aggressive as this thing acted I’m not sure if I wanna go out there at night unless I get a kinda big group of people to all go armed with me. I’ll prolly try just a drive through the first time I go at night but I’m not stopping or slowing down if ones coming at me that’s for sure. If this is where I’m thinking it is then it’s pretty open on both sides of the road at that point so I should be able to see anything that gets close. That’s what I’m telling myself anyways.

      I would. Ike to know where the encounter took place I live in east Tennessee next to the smokey mountains and have a sighting and calls in the evening and at nigh

    Running towards a moving vehicle in areas less traveled and later in the day seems to be more of a dogman move, than Bigfoot ( I think). They do run at cars and small trucks and have smacked them, luckly the people got away. They describe them as wolf like but huge…

      I don’t think so in this case because they actually saw it running toward them before they slowed down. I m guessing it was the noise of the car. They saw it running toward them, thought it was a person in the middle of nowhere, and when they realized it wasn’t it was too late to get back up to speed. So something made this thing come after them before it had a chance to smell them unless it was running that direction for a different reason, now all of a sudden somebody’s stopped in its path and it’s not stopping. I dunno it’s a head scratcher for sure

    Cherokee national forest is only 20mins away from me I’ve listened to a lot of stories from older people around the mountain’s of strange
    Things that have been happening for generations

      Northern Cherokee or southern Cherokee national forest cause there one up around Jefferson county then there’s the one I Goto down around Blount and monroe county

        cock county Greene county in that area I’ve listened to howls or screams and had some strange things happen while hunting and camping and I’ve listened to a lot of stories from people talking about the screams and being followed by something I n the woods while walking down the road and they would call them boogers
