The Confessionals writes “In Episode 572: The Shadows of the Uinta Basin, we jump into a collection of intriguing narratives that have been passed down within the Uinta Basin. Our journey leads us to the stories recounted by Bow Standing Rock and Johnny, who were Native Americans that graciously guided us through the mesmerizing landscapes of the Uinta Basin during the production of our documentary, “The Shape Of Shadows,” just last year.
During our conversation, Bow’s enthralling account of an eerie encounter with otherworldly humanoid figures takes center stage. He recounts an incident where he found himself pursued by a multitude of beings alongside a group of strangers. Moreover, Bow shares his unique ability to perceive realms beyond our own and even has seen what many would deem a Thunderbird, all within the heart of the Uinta Basin.
Amidst our dialogue, we explore a multitude of topics, ranging from the mysterious water babies to the elusive skinwalkers and even horsemen. This episode serves as a portal into a world where reality and lore collide, where the echoes of ancient tales continue to reverberate throughout the lands of the Uinta Basin.”

I had something strange happen today. I was supposed to be at my moms for a pre-birthday taco lunch with my brothers and sisters who traveled to get here quite a ways and meet at noon. I was walking my dog and letting her swim and retrieve sticks and lost track of time.
I don’t have a good memory and the lunch had slipped my forethought… I was looking for another stick to throw for the dog and then for the first in my life I had looked down and found a wristwatch! I looked at the time on it and it said 12:00 and it was still running.
I don’t wear or need a watch so I attached it to the nearest park bench so it could be found by the right person. Then we got in the car after I dried her with a towel and left for home.
2 minutes later my sister calls and asks if I’m coming over…”Oh crap!” I said. Then it dawned on me that I was probably given a heads up on the time with finding that watch… and sadly I still didn’t catch on in that moment at the significance of the time 🤦♂️. Dad has been gone for many years now but I just want to say publicly “Sorry Dad, thanks for trying”. 🙏🏼
