The Confessionals Podcast: The Shapeshifting Witch

Tony writes “On Episode 125, guest Charles joins The Confessionals to share a creepy experience he had in North Carolina when he was hiking. As he was climbing in an isolated area known for its many waterfalls, Charles suddenly found himself confronted by an old woman with an unusual appearance. As Charles tried to leave the area, it became clear that this old woman was not only pursuing him, but had very supernatural abilities! Later Charles describes some other unique paranormal events that he also experienced, including interactions with ghosts on an old plantation and witnessing a naked humanoid running through his yard”

Anyone know how to actually get tony to call them? I emailed Tony with my experiences back in march and he still hasnt called me.
    – to anyone hosting these types of podcast: it takes courage for people to try and tell their encounters. No one is sure how it will be received and it takes a mental build up to be ready to tell it. To tell people you want to talk, then never call, wait months, or never respond at all is rude.

Tony, if you monitor comments, I think you missed a couple of things I wish you had asked or pointed out.
First, the cloak. Who wears cloaks?! This is very unusual garb, and I would have liked more info about color, length, and material. Was it a long cloak? Black? Cotton? Or some other material?
What else was she wearing? What footwear on the foot he saw?
What was her expression when she looked at him? Isnt it odd that an old woman would run into a man on a remote trail and not say anything?
As for the nude man in the snow, is it possible the thing kept into trees, or if it was some kind of sasquatch type of creature, could it have jumped up into the tree branches and brachiated through the limbs, thus ending the foot prints and explaining how it continued to travel?
If it wasnt physical, why would it leave tracks? So inferring that it was a physical being, I would like to know what investigation he performed to eliminate other possibilities.

We actually decided to go hike Dismal Falls today after listening to this podcast. It started off normal enough, although this guest was not exaggerating in the slightest when he said how rough the terrain is in some places.

The second half of the hike was absolutely bizarre and unsettling. Still processing everything that happened.
