The Confessionals Podcast: The Monster Outside My Window

Tony writes “In Episode 319: The Monster Outside My Window, we are joined by Derrick and Tayler. Derrick begins the show by describing his experience with a creature that approached his window one night while he was sleeping.

After researching what he witnessed outside, Derrick concluded that he had seen a Rake. When he told his stepbrother about the encounter, his stepbrother revealed he had seen the same creature, but called it “the monkey man.” After Derrick’s story, we talk with Tayler, who reached out to The Confessionals as a new listener. Through tuning in to the program, she started connecting dots between topics she never usually paid much mind. But then she started seeing things in her home, and she wasn’t the only one – her husband saw them too. She describes the activity they both experienced, and how they made it stop.”

I had to listen in daylight???? because her encounter and some of her life story is very similar to mine. Congratulations on the marriage, if you happen to see this.

I too was molested by a family friend who was then killed during wartime. As an adult I saw a Christian counselor who went over my entire history and some heritage. I wasn’t as educated on my family history as I am today. She had me read several books, one which was the Bondage Breakers. I still have it. As my cousin and I reflected on it she wisely said, “there’s no telling what gods our ancestors sacrificed to and spilled blood for.” My counselor explained that the molestation, which is a product of evil, also opened me up to evil….not because it was a choice, but it was an introduction which can cause you damage all your life until you reconcile it. I too am attuned to evil or dark things. I can’t tell you how many times I leave a certain place or area when I get that prodding from the Holy Spirit. I believe once you’re touched by evil, it returns for awhile to see if the invisible scars have actually healed. There’s still nights I sleep with a light on. I also have encounters with sasquatch and other things, which is why I don’t view them as forest hominids. There’s something more there. My counselor was a woman, a Protestant, who basically prayed over me… in something similar to an exorcism. She was an incredible lady, ahead of her time.
