This guy has a hard time talking, without taking a deep breath. What is he? 400 pounds. He needs to be taken to a fat farm. Sorry to sound so mean, but this guy was really hard to listen to. Glad to see that you’re delving into the subject of Dogman, Wes. Keep up the good work.

Come on guys, give the man a break. A lot of,people have a real hard time talking when they know they’re being recorded. Sounds like he was really nervous. It was a great story though. There is,a lot of spooky stuff that goes,on there. Get a lot of,bigfoot and dogmen stories.

This poor man. We all have lives to live and twenty-four hours in a day to do it in. Tried to listen to his other podcast as well but time and practice have not helped his presentation. He needs to check out joining Toastmasters.
And, that said, I would really like to hear his podcast but the agony of listening is pure torture.
Now I feel like I’m the bad guy because even going to the dentist doesn’t make me react like his overly careful cadence.

Wow. What a terrifying account. There is something weird going on at LBL…and the public needs to be made aware, so I am glad this man related the account.

Thanks for the great story. That poor guy. Hope the family found some closure.
Don’t pay too much mind to the negative comments…
    You did great. Thanks

    I was……….going …………to …..mention
    How…………..slow ……..he………..spoke………but…….
    You….. All …………beat……. me ……….. To…………it.

Very, very interesting story – thanks for posting. He probably was nervous and
might have benefited from SC’s brilliant interviewer, Wes, heading up the
session. 🙂 Wes…gotta little crush on you, but that aside – you do a great job
    with SC!

LBL sounds like a horrible place…Coonbo & Bear tell some very creepy things about their experiences in this local centered around Dogmen….much easier to listen to vs this story teller.

Yes, Paul Yes.It needs to be WESified down to a few minutes. Clearly Wes can be called a professional editor presenter interviewer etc.
When Wes says you Guyses tho, my head explodes. But the good outweighs the bad and is entertaining.

Similar elements here to the camp destruction account in Texas.
The campsite was cleaned up, the local coroner silenced, and rangers afraid to talk.

The fact that details of both accounts were leaked also speaks volumes. The official response to leaked information is stony silence, and the silence actually works pretty well. There are not enough people questioning the official story to effect a change.

This guy was not that bad, what, you want teleprompter? This guy did even see one, try talking about when you have, when I talked about it after my sightings 30 and40 years ago, with out no community of this subject, when I told my shit it stills feel like, no way, it is what is

Come on guy if you read these posts about how slow you talk, believe them, you are truly slow and a great deal of labor in your speech. The next time you do a story, you might try writing it down on paper and practicing so you can flow right through it. I couldn’t listen to the end because my skin was crawling waiting for you to get it out. Need a tall glass of wine. Thanks for trying though.

Maybe it’s a hard thing to relate . With the high levels of scrutiny anyone would be deliberate . Glad someone from the area spoke up . And yes we are spoiled by the polished dulcimer tones of Wes . Not to mention the white nuckle thrill from previouse encounters . Hope listeners aren’t discouraged when they concider sharing Thier experiences in the future . I’ve often wondered about the lbl so I was glad for the info. Ty for sharing . I couldn’t even imagine what it’s like to be in that area ! ( maybe its less scary than critics) .

  13. Kay S

Thank you for giving a precise and clear story. It’s a shame those who are being critical of your speaking style obviously don’t realise how hard it is for some of us to speak when we’re nervous.

    • Jacqueline O

I agree with you. His story was very interesting. I was aware of the “family incident”, but not the missing hiker/camper. I always learn something new to investigate!

I’m also not aware if these Youtubers know their videos are on SasChron . . .does Wes need permission to avoid infringement, legal matters, etc? Does anyone know how this handled? Will anyone even read this?

Gentleman, thank you for coming forward with this information. WE are appreciative, despite the negative remarks (most of us joke in a playful manner). I hope you will continue to report more accounts and not be discouraged by what others say. You’re doing a great job!

I could not make it through the entire story. Far too much pausing and bodily noises when pausing. I imagined the narrator eating KFC every 2-3 seconds was the root cause of poor story telling

In 1986 my husband and I along with some other horse riding friends went up to lbl for a weekend of trail riding. We had a wonderful time at that primitive campsite and nothing strange happened to us, but had I known that there was even a chance of these things being near I would have been terrified and quite possibly would have stayed in the camper the entire weekend. Glad you’re ok and hope everything goes well for you in the future.

I heard coonbo talk about this story.also a hunter that went missing in that same area. Coonbo said they had M.I.B. there along with military and all sorts of government agencies when this happened. He spoke to a gentleman that lived close by that validated all of the government agencies being there. Whether its true or not it is a creepy, creepy story.sorry, I wrote this while I was listening and didnt hear the bow hunter story.

Great story. I use to go skiing there in the late 1960s with high school friends. Although it is a beautiful area, it’s creepy. We always left well before sunset so that we would be out of the LBL by sundown.

My grandfather retired in the 1950’s or earlier after spending many many years as a lineman for the railroad in Oklahoma, Arkansas, east Texas, and occasionally Louisiana. ( When he traveled even further east he was told that he had a doppelganger with the same name doing the same type of job. More than a few people thought he was this other person during those trips ). I don’t know how my grandfather sounded when he was younger but when I knew him ( he died in the early 1980’s ) although his words were a bit more clipped he, too, had a very similar – if not MORE pronounced cadence. He was a natural storyteller and when we could my brother, sister and I would sit, listen, and appreciate. But it was much harder to pay that attention when we were all teenagers, though we tried…so now that I have taken an interest in squatch I try to remember the stories he told about climbing poles in every kind of weather and traveling by train and then traveling by handcar, often alone, for miles to find the break, climb the pole, repair it and work his way back to catch the train home. It occurred to me not to long ago that I think I remember him telling my dad that he had seen a bigfoot. My father liked his world neat and tidy and I’m not sure how he filed that information away for himself but my mom, who had seen a cigar shaped aircraft sitting aloft over her hometown of Heavener, OK, was much more open minded. I think the reason I’m remembering this is because I think one of my grandfather’s children bought him a book on bigfoot and I remember seeing it laying in his house. Regrets, ya know? I could have just listened.
