Lived in the Mountaire area of the Mogolln Rim for 7 years up until 2010. I had never heard of the Mogollon monster, but while traveling the forests I saw what I now think we’re some of their tree bending techniques. One day while traveling on the 17 Interstate I saw the back of a large creature bent over a deer that had previously been hit by a vehicle and drug to the side of the road, or at least that was what I thought had happened. It had huge shoulders, but it’s back was to me. The hair on its body was a brown/red color and looked to be about 3 inches long. I could not see the face so I cannot be see of what I was looking at. In the years I lived there I saw many animals. This was unlike anything I had ever seen before. I can also say that there were a few places that made me nervous to be around. It always felt like I was being watched when I was in those areas. PJ
