A listener writes “Last Saturday went to walk the Rainforest Trail in Ucluelet, BC. We were the first people on the trail around 8 am.
Not long into the hike we came across a footprint that made my wife and I stop and question. Attached are photos of the footprint, there appears to be another footprint before the well-defined one. I attempted to make the stride for these footprints but they were longer than I could extend. My wife said she felt the boardwalk shake a minute or so before we reached the footprints, we decided it would be best to turn around and head back because our kids were with us.
On our way out my wife said she might have seen something move but it was hard to see with the morning light. Have there been other reports in this area that you know of? Please let me know if you have any questions about the photos.”

It was best you turned around an went back anyway, with or without kids, if you don’t want to be another 411 case.

Looks like my sons size 15.5 work boots. Huge feet but they do make shoes that size. Maybe I am missing seeing toe prints but it sure looks like a shoe shape instead of bare feet.

That’s what I’m seeing also. No toe definition.
