A listener writes “I wanted to share a couple of photos with you. Instead of retelling the story, I’ve copied what I typed on your site about them on the episode 994 page;

In 2016, approximately 15 to 20 miles south of Joe’s cabin in bayfield county, I stumbled across several large footprints that appear human like in the forested area between Washburn and Iron River. They appeared to be several days old and due to rain falling prior to discovering them, had lost definition, with the exception of one that was semi-protected by a small pine bow.

These impressions were in a sand/soil mixture on the back end of a sand pit that is sometimes used for informal firearm shooting. This area is riddled with broken glass, shot up cans, bottles and other junk that gets taken along. It’s not a place to be wandering around without footwear.
The prints were rough, but I managed to take a few photos. I’m not fanatic by any means, but I have come to the conclusion that there has to be something out there yet to be definitively proven to exist.”
