Matt, folks used to go missing on some of the ranches and in the Sequoia as well. I knew stockmen who quit running cattle because they were losing cows. I ran a trapline between the Blue ridge and the Sequoia Nat. I see folks have moved out there and paved over a lot of what was thick brush.
