A listener writes “This happened October 31st 2015, the last day of deer season. A friend and I went out mid-late morning. We noticed there were no other vehicles in the area. We started hiking up the hill and got almost up to the Ridgeline when we heard “Whoop, whoop!” I turned to my friend and said what was that. He said “I don’t know.” We kept hiking and noticed a storm approaching. We came to the top of the ridge and the storm front hit us.
It was sleeting, raining, snowing and blowing. We kept hiking along the ridge for about another half mile or so. The storm passed and it was just cold. We stopped and glassed the area for about 30 minutes. Didn’t hear or see anything. Not even any vehicles (we were on top of the ridge and could look down to a couple roads).
We started heading back down the trail and approached the area where we heard the sounds before when we heard “Whoop, whoop!” again. I turned to my friend and asked ” What the he’ll is that?” He said I have no clue. We went through the different animals in the area that could have made the sound. We couldn’t think of anything that sounded like that.
We eventually made it back to our truck, still wondering what that sound was. So Wes, have you heard of any reports of Bigfoot encounters around the Idaho City area of Idaho?”
