A listener writes “Hello Wes! I love your podcast and was surfing your site tonight looking at pics when I thought I would share one of my own. When I was young, my older brother’s friends shared a story of “little hairy people”harassing them at night as they camped in Malan’s basin.
Part of the Wasatch front. They were terrified and will never go back. At one point it was said “when I looked out the tent one was doing a shitty little dance…” It’s actually a pretty cool story.
Since then we have fondly termed them “Hehanks,” and the name Hehank has been sort of joke in our family for years.
I’ve had a Bigfoot encounter and I’ve seen orbs, so when I see a pic like this one I’m sharing I think why couldn’t it be something unknown?
I found it as I was looking through my pictures from a hike my husband and I were on in the Teton Mountains. It’s just strange enough. It almost looks like my baby is watching it. I wish the picture was clearer. We definitely didn’t see anything while hiking. Never noticed anything while taking pictures. It was getting near sunset and we didn’t see anyone else on the trail.”
But this is still strange

That’s cool and interesting what ever the object or thing maybe. The story told along with the picture does add a certain amount of strangeness and mystery to the package. Thanks for the share anonymous listener.

That’s pretty creepy. There’s just so many weird things going on in the forests and isolated places. Makes me think of the word elementals. I recall lounging at dusk just outside our camper in a recliner lawn chair watching the trees get darker and darker as the sun went down while the lake shown like a patch of silver. It was beautiful. I didn’t want to go inside but my husband had already turned in. Something was telling me to go join him inside our little popup camper but I didn’t do it. Suddenly some unseen force rushed me to the side of my face and stopped. In my minds eye I pictured little round spirits, invisible ones. I went inside. I think those might have been nature spirits and I’ve wondered if they are also known as elementals. These little monkey guys , mischievous and nasty, with their mocking little dances seem to leave me with the same kind of feeling as I had with those invisible things i experienced. Humm… thanks for sharing the story with us!!

That was my 1st impression 2. It looks like a jumpsuit, maybe with long braided hair down the front? From that distance it’s hard to make out those dark parts on the bodice though. But looks puffy in a certain especially spacesuit like way, the folds of fabric? I’d love to know, but another mystery !????

You know whats funny now that I look a 2nd time after reading some of the comments. I noticed it looks like the baby is looking in that direction as if he or she is the only one that knows. I know I’m just speculating but it’s plausible something is there and leave it to the innocence of a child to see what we don’t. That adds to even more strangeness.

Not sure of the Tetons trail or hike, but my nephew and I heard two wood knocks south of the Lupine Meadows trail and about 2 miles into the trail last September in early morning.

Looks like a person wearing a backpack or something to me. Kind of looks like the are looking through a pair of binoculars. If I look harder I can see a robot standing in front of one of those hairy dolls you knock down at the fair.
