I have a hard time believing that those Russian hikers would be sleeping in their underwear at such a high elevation and during such cold weather.

Depends on a few things, how good was their sleeping bags? A feather down sleeping bag can keep you real warm. Did they sleep close to one another for body heat? Did some of them get their pants wet earlier from the snow and they were drying them out?

What I was amazed at in some of the clips, was the vast amount of beautiful evergreen trees. It’s too bad when you see these gorgeous tall pines that your memory is smudged with all of Hitler’s scum.
