The YouTuber sasquatch1973 captured a strange howl off in the distance. Take a listen.

Strip me naked, cover me in ketchup, and call me a “French Fry” – but I would love to see the guy that can howl like that. That is not a person doing unenhanced vocals.

There may well be other explanations – someone with loud speakers and a timber wolf recording (which doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but I’m sure someone will think it).

The guy is gutsy (if this wasn’t previously set up), being unarmed, I wouldn’t have been sticking around for the second howl which was closer, let alone a third closer still.

Always, ALWAYS, go armed into the woods – unless you are armed you are totally defenseless against even something as little as a rabid squirrel, not to mention people of ill intent. Yes, as I’ve heard in some encounters, the presence of a firearm seems to be a deterrent to cryptids of ill intent as well.

I agree 100 percent, people put there lives in damger every time they go into the woods unarmed and a good 75% dont even know it smh! Like nature watching hikers that troop 30 miles deep into uncharted territory with a tent, book of matches a bottled water and a can of campbells soup then spend the nite an hike back in the morning smh!

It does sound like a speaker but then again we do know both dogman and squatch have very large lung capacity, it could be a territorial thing with him going on there patch, we know they are intelligent enough to know there size and vocals can scare humans so my bet is if he had stayed there the next stop would be tree pushing/ rock throwing or an alpha showing himself if its not a fake job

Hoax or not, that is frightening to have it get closer and louder in a short 4 minutes of time. The gentleman’s reactions seem genuine. Thank-you Wes for all your time spend.
