A listener writes “Hello Wes, I’m writing you in hopes of you suggesting the perfect episode for my daughter to listen to. Something that would help explain all of the oddities that she is experiencing.
She’s in her late 20’s, married, and lives in the country in central Illinois. She raises horses, cows, goats, chickens and several other animals. Her husband is gone a lot with work, and like in many of your episodes, that’s when stuff happens.
This doesn’t happen all the time, but there are patterns to when it does. She’ll go out to the barn and get a dreadful feeling with an uncontrollable fear. Even her 5 dogs will not go in there. Of course, she leaves there and walks, not run (scared to run), back to the house.
There are times when rocks are thrown at her and sometimes she’ll see movement out of the corner of her eye. She knows something is out there but doesn’t know what it is. When her husband gets home, she tells him about it, he just rolls his eyes and goes out there to find nothing.
I mentioned Bigfoot and told her about an experience that I had and why I believe the creature is real and that made her open up a little to the possibility. But I believe if she heard similar experiences, other than mine, she’d be able to understand it and handle it better.
I didn’t ask about orbs or dig too deep. I figured that I can do that after she gets more info and feels a bit more comfortable talking about it.

SC Episode 697, “A Whirlwind of Weirdness” would be a good one. It’s one of my all-time favorite episodes. The guest is a woman who would experience scary sasquatch strangeness at her home, in almost every case while her husband was away on business trips. She handled it like a champ, however!

In my opinion these two made me think of your poor daughter’s situation, and honestly these two episodes are in my top 10 of all time favorite Sasquatch chronicles.
Episode 787: “They are on the property” AND Episode 841: “We are moving”
Which I got the update on the confessionals from Tony, it only got worse for them (and they DID end up moving and they were so heart broken).

Another good source is long time Central Illinois Bigfoot investigator and researcher who has a pretty good website is Stan Courtney who has doucmented a lot of cases in Illinois, especially central Illinois.
