A listener writes “Around 2007, myself and some friends were on a boat on Norris Lake in Tennessee. (All adults over 30) It was around 2 am. We were coming back from a concert at one of the marinas. We all noticed a small glowing light on one of the banks in the distance. It was steady, never moving.
We were all like “What the hell is that?” so we slowly drove over. Upon arriving it looked as though the light was in the ground. We all grew up around lakes and were out boating often..but had never witnessed anything like this. Myself and one man got out of the boat and walked up to the glowing light coming from the ground.
It appeared to be a glowing, transparent reptile, snake like creature. The color would be similar to a glowing jellyfish as you could see veins, etc. It began to slowly slither deeper into the ground and disappeared. It was approximately 2- 2 1/2 inches thick. Hard to tell about the exact length but it seemed to be maybe 2 feet long.
Everyone else just laughed and chalked it up to drinking. We had been drinking, but I was completely sober by this point. We both were.
I have researched for years and have never been able to find ANY info about what this creature could have been. I thought I would give it a shot and reach out to you in hopes you may have heard of similar experiences. Thanks so much, and I hope to hear back from you!”

When my brother lived near the Twin Cities MN his trail camera captured a feeding deer (head down), several yards behind the deer looks to be giant anaconda snake (lit up very bright, glowing or lit up by the camera flash) coming out from behind a tree and looking directly at the deer, the following picture the camera took only 30 seconds to a minute later show the deer with its head up looking in that direction but the snake thing is gone. It’s funny you posted this as I was just thinking about those photos in the last couple days.
It wasn’t debris or grass floating by either, you can see where the body fades more into the darkness. It’s creepy
