What if Paranthropus mated with Giagantopithicus way back in the day. Also during the ice age a lot of creatures were larger as it is beneficial to holding in body heat.

Charles, Gigantopithicus, believed to be related to orangutan, can’t have offspring with hominins (man’s linage).

Except they only have large teeth and a few jaw fragments to go by. They know it existed, but they can only theorize what it may have been. Since I know a little about current hominids, then my guess for now is as good as theirs. Once they throw any acknowledgement of the Sasquatch out of the equation, it severely limits their judgement on Gigantopithicus. Some day, which may be a long way off, the truth will become clearer.

That makes some uncanny sense. I think they have language and I’d categorized them as human even though they look like that paranathropus, just not one of us.
