SC EP:354 Hey look! A Monkey!

I will return on Sunday for the members. I have a great show planned for you. I had to move some guests around so I am releasing Sunday’s show early to you.

Tonight I will be speaking to Josh who had a strange encounter while out camping in Canada. Many shows ago I had Josh’s friend on who told this encounter, but I wanted to speak to Josh to get his take on what they saw.

4 types, he who has the most information is best equipped to put forward theories, and Wes has more encounter stories to draw on than just about anybody. It is a great idea, and there may be more than 4 types, and no one seems to agree on more than 3 of the types, but it really helps to have even a tentative classification system to work with. You can start guessing what they may do depending on how they look, and that would be a really good thing to know.

Wes: your input and theories are as relevant as any other reassaecher, or more so.
Anecdotal evidence is a valid type of inquiry.
      Great show.

Wes, I have a bachelor of science degree in biology and psychology and ‘life’ happened and I left graduate school in my second year. (My dad got cancer)
Anyway, I loved to do research for papers and studies and left school wth a 4.0 as proof.
To me, your ‘crazy theory’ of the 4 types’ is the result of hours and hours of work, with information from thousands of people you have talked to who are from all over the world and every walk of life. That truly could never be duplicated in a lab or study. The knowledge you have is immeasurable and your opinion is valuable. ?

Very interesting interview, thanks Wes. Your discussion with Josh about the possibility of several distinct types of Sasquatch makes a lot of sense. He saw a young one but it seems he was already aggressive and sent the message; don’t mess with me. I thought that was really interesting too – like they are taught to be hostile early on. Perhaps most Sasquatch have a long-standing resentment of humans for specific reasons only known to them and they transfer those feelings of distrust to their children. It just seems that even juvenile monkeys are generally playful with each other and human children alike if they do not pose a threat. Why then would a young Sasquatch be so…quickly agitated with human children who apparently were not challenging him in any way if not instructed (probably by a parent at some point) to be like that?

Going up to the Ape Caves/ Mt. St. Helens, WA this weekend to camp out and hike. Anyone know if there’s activity up there this time of year? I’d like to avoid shitting my pants in front of my wife and friends! But honestly, what’s the theory on East/west seasonal migration in Washington? I have had a few encounters when I was younger, growing up in Forks, WA/ Sappho area. Now I hide in the concreat jungles of Portland, OR.

I think they are hanging around huckleberry patches in the Gifford Pinchot right about now. Seriously, find big patches and they’ll find you. Had a tree pushed over by us about 3 weeks ago while picking huckleberries. We moved to another area. Or, stay away from the berries and you be less likely to see some.

HEY WES, you forgot there’s several types down here in FLORIDUH! We have our famous 6-8ft tall red and STINKY ape, a black or red orangutan that’s 7ft tall, a silver back gorilla type that’s bi-pedal and is over 6ft, a dark colored ‘patty’ type that’s 6-9ft tall that can be black ,brown, grey or red. I call it the SUNSHINE STATE BOOGER BUFFET! So I think there’s more than 4 types and like humans there all different shapes and sizes. If you go to BIGFOOT 411 website it has awesome photos and drawings of the 4 types. Wes you started something awesome with the 4 types of bigfoot which validates why people see DIFFERENT animals. Hopefully someday soon we can find out what they really are.

Poor Canadians. They can’t carry a gun. I read a story last week where a guy beat an intruder that came in his house and he is being charged with assault!! How upside down is that? They’re coming for ours but it will be a civil war and a lot of dead. Great witness

Okay – not to be “that guy”, but the video of a chimp-ping-pong-phenom is a hoax. (Note the way the chinp stands in one position – and even smiles at the camera at one point).
Homo sapien sapiens differ from our closest relatives in not only body structure and dynamics, but in neurological makeup.
While the muscle mass of a chinp makes them up to seven-times stronger than human beings, that increased muscle-mass means that there is much less nerve synapses between their brains and their appendages.
This actual video shows how a real chinp behaves when presented a table and paddle.

I need help! ? This episode has me addicted epically. I am baking and cleaning for a birthday get together and I have listened to this episode …multiple times. I love learning from the guests hunting, camping and now spelunking experiences as well as Sasquatch stuff.
I also could listen to Wes talk of his experiences and the people he talks to all day. Got to go listen again…….?

~ What episode is the “brothers”? (The one with the bag lady, the being followed into the garage, the BF actually peeing in the garage [and they didn’t clean it up!?!] and the exorcist finally handling the situation?)… The Brother’s episode? & ~is there ever going to be “follow up”?

~ Wes, you’ve done more in this genre than anyone, anywhere. It’s a real privilege to have found this site. (I ain’t just whistling Dixie, brother) ~ We Love ya man! Thanks Wes!

Thanks Wes! Finally I’m First! I just had to do it. Texas is hell right now. I’ve been threw a hurricane in Corpus Christy back in the late 60’s, and it was wild. I was in 2nd grade, but I still remember a lot of it!

I was out camping in North Idaho this weekend and missed this episode until now-Sunday afternoon. I really enjoyed the witness, Josh, and I especially enjoyed hearing you open up, Wes, with the types story. It’s easy for me to ask you to do that more as I haven’t been clobered by the bigfoot community over anything I have said or done regarding Sasquatch. I would like to say this is a safe community for you to let it all hang out but we all know how that goes. Anyway, thanks for the awesome show. To all our Texas members, prayers and thoughts coming your way. If you need anything, please let us know! I wonder how this storm is affecting Squat down there? Do you think any bodies will be found, like the one in Oregon during the Columbus Day storm? Something to keep our eyes and ears open for on social media.

Good show, got to it late because we were camping up north… So my boyfriend tells me there is no such thing as sasquatch, even though he admitted to seeing such a thing at age 10 while out on his three wheeler….he describes the one with the long snout….he got really nervous when i found the 15 inch prints recently while camping…im not sure what to make of it, is he just in denial? Hes trying to say it must be people trying to scare others…

Hey everyone, I know I’m just a little bit late to the party but can someone tell me what episode this story originally appeared on from the other perspective ? I discovered the podcast and I am going back and listening to them all in order, but I cannot remember this story from the past.

    Thanks!
