    Assuming these animals have evolved at the same rate as human’s evolved tool use, it is not beyond possibility they developed (evolved) a heightened ability to use infrasound to calm or frighten, or anything in between, any humans (or even animals) they encounter.

    I’ve ‘heard’ Bigfoot & bears don’t co-habitate. Where there are Sasquatch, there’s no bear. I guess that’s a good reason to have Bigfoot in the woods nearby. Personally, I don’t wish to run into either. Recently watching NW Law I recall the officers making a big deal about releasing a small Black Bear. It was interesting but I couldn’t help think what they’d have done if the thing was grizzly. There’s a re-population effort for grizzly bear in Washington State. Once someone told me about it and said, ‘there’s a big difference between a black bear and a grizzly’, of which I retorted, ‘Yeah about three feet!’ Ugh!
