Sasquatch Encounter On Camping Adventure

Dr. Hannah Straight writes “Bigfoot or Sasquatch? Comment what you think it was! I was out camping in my truck camper in the middle of nowhere when something opened my truck door when I was sleeping.

I had no idea what to do. I had to stick around the next day to find out what it was and get it on camera.

I’ve heard of multiple stories and encounters of bigfoot but I’ve never personally seen anything out in the woods. Van life has brought many surprises but nothing like this!”

That thing that looks like a bear on it’s hind legs has shortish arms and usually sightings have quite long forearms so I’m not sure based on the photo, especially since some of the picture appears to be photoshopped (foreground portrait added in). So, based on the photo and limited story details I give it a pass. BTW Sasquatch and Bigfoot are just two different names for the same creature. Maybe the door wasn’t closed all the way and a bear came snooping around. Especially if there was food, that is a possibility. Our black bears are quite agile and actually use their forearms to push a suet feeder far enough to grab it off a huge iron Shepard’s hook (cast iron 6’ tall). I have video from a trail cam we set up to catch the culprit. It was shocking just how much dexterity they have. On PooToob (, err YouTube but we call it that now since they censor!) anyway, on PooToob you can find videos of bears opening car doors and even garages.

Okay, now I see the YouTube vid (only the still pic was there when I first commented)
    So here’s my take….

    It’s a Sasquatch in a Bigfoot costume, or a Bear in a Sasquatch costume or a Bigfoot in a woman’s costume…..

There isn’t a single thing about this video that makes me think “real”.. from the advertisement for the coffee, to the advertisement for the $30k camper and the “like and subscribe” speech.

The “sasquatch” has nothing about it that makes me want to think anything other than “person in a suit”.

honestly.. I do like that camper however..it is really nice. wonder how much they are on the used market…..
