Stories like these are great. An older Texan like Windell would never make up a story like that. He reminds me of several of my older uncles when they were alive. Poor guy, imagine seeing one and then your own wife doesn’t believe you……
Yes, I believe him also. He sounds like one of those good old boys from Texas.. it sounds like Bear or Coonbo “What in the hell is that!”…

That was great, I believe him too. Reminds me of my dad’s story from around that time but in west Texas. His dad, my grandad, was his passenger and didn’t see the thing on the side of the road. My grandpa had noticed my dad’s demeanor change and asked him what was wrong. My dad told him and grandpa told my dad to turn the car around and go back so he could see it too. My dad would have around 19-20 at that time and he was so scared that he refused to turn around and go back. He said the hair on the back of his neck and the hair on his arms stood on end.
I love the the old timers stories. No reason to bend or fabricate the truth, just a good ol’ boy tellin his story. Back then nobody knew about these creatures. They were just called monsters, or boogers, or whatever. But the fact that their behavior hasn’t changed much in all these years lends even more credibility to the fact that these animals exist.
Creepy! Reminds me of the episode where the guy said the one he saw was acting oddly, like it had mental problems..hmm. Maybe the one this guy saw, being white may have been older and had some physical or mental problem.
Very interesting. Maybe they suffer mental illnesses and brain issues like humans do.????
