One of my favorite researchers Trey sent this to me and I thought I would share it. He writes “Hey Wes its Trey. Had a question for you man. I followed up on a report last week where a fisherman came across what he at first thought was a guy dressed in a monkey suit drinking water out of a creek. After he yelled some choice words at the “guy” it stood up and walked up the mountain side. He said it was 7ft+ tall but when I crossed the creek to measure it was actually closer to 8. He knew then it wasn’t a prank. When I asked him how it was drinking the water he told me it was using just one hand to scoop the water out of the stream into its mouth and it was actually losing some of the water on the way up to its mouth. I figured an animal that big would use both hands or simply put its face down to the water to drink. I asked Bear about this and he said think about it, if you put both your hands up together your blocking a lot of your site line whereas if you use one hand your still able to see around pretty well. My question is have you heard any reports of them drinking water and what kind of methods do they use to do this. Is this how they all do it or was it an isolated incident.” Aide juridique gratuite, services juridiques, Éric Dupond-Moretti,Aide juridique gratuite, services juridiques, Éric Dupond-Moretti, avocats, spécialiste droit de la famille Paris Avocats.link
I always say I do not have one in my garage that I am studying but I have spoken to many witnesses that reported seeing these creatures squatting down and using one hand to scoop water to drink it. I have had a few reports of them laying down on their belly’s and just gulping water with their mouths but those reports seem to be less common. The creatures in a squatted position using one hand to scoop water is the most common.

Makes sense to me. I only use one hand if I get some from the running water when brushing my teeth! You lose some either way I guess. If they were really thirsty, like from running, I can see two hands or down on their belly.

As big as they are I figure they could handle being double fisted while drinking all the time.

We all know fisherman never tell lies! just kidding I’m a fisherman LOL! what’s up brother Dave!

Ya I figured it would use both hands myself but after hearing this report and verifying the drinking method with Bear and Wes both I have no doubts this man saw one. The reports in this area are going up and this guy was an older guy not into the bigfoot subject. Either he got a lucky guess on all the aspects or he truly saw one. He seemed very legitimate to me and has fished the stream for a long time. So thanks for this Wes this mans account was the closest and he got the best look of anyone I’ve interviewed from here

Like Eddie Murphy said, “Gus, i figured it out, Your wife is a bigfoot, she threw her fishing pole down, slammed her face in the water and came up yelling Gooney Goo Goo.”

Took a report (from middle Tennessee) that took place in the mid-eighties, where the witness (whom was a church camp councilor during the summers, overseeing week long camping & hiking activities) came across a section of trail with a small stream crossing it, and about 40 yards up the stream, a large grey-haired creature was sitting on a rock, cupping water into it’s mouth in the same manner described above.
Just thought I’d share, since the inquiry was made.

Thanks Randy. I’m over here in E Tenn in the mountains myself.

They have the time to be one handing. Good security measure as stated. Any given individual is not necessarily the biggest squatch on the property.
