Russian boy claims he has found signs of Bigfoot in Siberian wilderness

A schoolboy on a camping trip in Siberia has found a massive footprint of what could be the mythical Yeti, Russian media has claimed.

Denis Alexandrov, 12, noticed the alleged sign of Bigfoot on an early morning walk with other children close to his tent in the mountainous Shorsky National Park in Kemerovo region.

The print was twice the size of a man’s foot, said his father Andrei, 49.

‘I’m into hunting so I understand a bit about footprints,’ said Andrei, who claimed he did not believe in the Yeti before he witnessed the giant mark in clay.

‘We went to the place were the kids saw the footprint and the only thing I can say was, “I now know it exists”.

‘The creature must have been very tall,’ he told The Siberian Times, ‘The edges of the footprint were sharp, which means the creature left the footprint not too long ago.’

The Big Foot print resembled a human’s, it was claimed.

It had been raining in the night and the campers, who were on a boat trip on remote Mras-Su River, did not hear any strange noises.

Despite their claims, none of the campers are thought to have actually seen the beast itself. It is the second Yeti claim in the region this summer.

Artist and sculptor Andrey Lyubchenko drew a picture of a Yeti that he claimed to have met while out walking in the early morning on 27 July.

He said: ‘It happened so unexpectedly and fast that I had no time to get scared.’

looks good to me… mountains, tents, school… my only question that comes to mind is…. any children come up missing lately? if not there probably will be soon. they’re coming around suddenly now for something, and it isnt the smooth vodka.

That’s the ideal print to cast. If it was real the dermal ridges will surely show up. If it’s a fake, it’s a good one. I just don’t think the hoaxing thing is as widespread over there. Maybe I’m wrong.

If the photo of the foot-to-print, is of the 12 year old’s foot, the I would say it’s more than likely an adults foot print. A little water, a little clay, a little gishing around of the foot, and there you have it. Obviously a Yeti? Old mother Russia, is a fake! The people are taught to lie at an early age, nothing new about that. I feel for the poor kid. If it was real, some ” police force” would swoop in and confiscate everything he has! Oh wait, that only happens over here! Right!

Look at the boy…that is not his foot in the picture. As far as dermal ridges… you can almost see them in the mud. Look along the heel. Especially in the 2nd picture. It is a crisp print with sharp edges. that was most certainly not made by swishing around back and forth in the mud, (as in an effort to enlarge the print).

I say it looks like it could be real to me. I hope they did get a good casting of it.

I don’t think this picture is showing a arch. But a flexible forefoot, as seen in other notable tracks. The fence climber video, by M K Davis, also seems to show this flexibility in the forefoot. Just my thoughts. I’m no expert.
