Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin Interview (Oct 26, 1967)

The Sasquatch Archives writes “On October 26, 1967, Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin were interviewed on radio by Jack Webster in Vancouver, following the showing of the Patterson-Gimlin film at the University of British Columbia that same evening.

Fortunately, John Green had a copy of the interview in his cassette tape collection. He graciously permitted me to make a copy of the recording and all of his other cassette recordings as well. These will later be added to this channel.

Until now, and after a long 53 years, the interview had not been made public.”

Scientist’s….such as myself..Environmental Science B.S., would always say that eyewitness testimony is the least reliable and essentially useless….
When it comes to Bob Gimlin’s testimony…
and the fact that I know Sasquatch exist…
I’m amazed that anyone could call him a hoaxer…or even worse a liar….
How can anyone not see the genuine human that he is…and telling the same details after 55 years…

Great Interview, though Jack Webster seemed more excited and kept firing off new questions before Roger and Bob could answer the current one. Just six days after the event. Nice modern day incorporation of film enhancements and stabalization and really good pictures of the tracks and trackway that showed no straddle of the feet.

It sure seems like oftentimes people have a sighting of something unexplained, shocking, makes you reevaluate what it means to be alive and what else you might be missing out on or unaware of. This I believe is the real test to see if you run deeper into the hole or run for the light at the end of the tunnel.

In some ways, I feel like these sightings can be similar to a near death experience or even being diagnosed with a terminal illness. All these things can cause an instant change in thought process.

It can drag you down and keep you distracted if you let it, or it can bring out the best in you that you didn’t know was there. Sometimes you have to look at yourself long and hard enough, as well as look at how you fit into the bigger picture of life.

Whatever a Sasquatch is, it can often almost rob you of a certain quality of life and seems more like a curse more than anything. It can feel like life has suddenly handed you an armful of lemons you didn’t ask to carry around with you and you’ve become too preoccupied thinking about it.

It’s times like these you have to appreciate people like Bob Gimlin, who don’t quit on themselves. We should all look at what he’s done with his experience and armload of lemons and take notes.

I really admire all the lemonade he was able to make and continues to share with all of us from his life and experiences as being a stand-up guy with a big heart. The world can always use more people just like him. He’s the kind we are forced to look up to, up higher than any forest giant.

If Sasquatch comes from something negative or dark, I think it made a mistake, maybe it had a plan of adding fear which then backfired by showing itself to a guy like Bob Gimlin, and with all the positivity he generates when you know more about him.

When life squarely hands you something unexpected or dark, this is your chance to prove the darkness wrong, make the best of any situation it puts you in, and keep relighting that torch every chance you get. If everyone lights their torches it sounds like prime time to go chasing down monsters if you ask me.🌞❤️
