Yes the red river gorge can be a creepy place. Its fun duringv the day hanging with friends and so on but at night…….im sure there are many places like this across the usa. Fun during the day but scary as hell at night. Cumberland lake is the same way. I live in southwestern ohio and dont have to go anywhere to have weird experiences but the red river gorge is cool.

After listening to this encounter, the way he describes the screams along with that very aggrressive and agitated behavior, i have a feeling that creature may have been a dogman. I have heard in other encounter stories of witnesses hearing that witchy type cackling sound, and they were dogman encounters. But, i have been wrong before, once i think…lol

JOE R, your so funny I bet you do not ask for directions either? HeHe I once heard a screaming creature which sounded like Half-man (like someone wasted) and then half aminal come out of the forest and walked a big circle around us then went back the way it came. We saw nothing and our dog never moved so scared, I always thought it might be Sasquatch but now I thinking it could have been Dogman, that’s even more scarier….Yoooo glad I didn’t see it….
