Randy Harrington from the Sensible Bigfoot Project interviewed Ernie Davieau who had an encounter in 1986, he said during his encounter “the creature raised both Hands to communicate.”

(New Jersey) In his short introduction, Wes mentioned this man had an encounter in 1986. Well I wasn’t expecting anything special listening to his encounter. Wow was I wrong . This was one of the more amazing and unusual ones I have ever heard. While many here may have listened to this before, it was new to me. Some may question Ernie’s case, or why he waited over 40 years to tell it, but his fear of ridicule is a common one with people who have these experiences. Anyway, a great story that shows the intelligence of these creatures and the similarities we share with them.

This was an amazing story, I’ve never heard. I wonder why we don’t hear more about these creatures using hand signals.

(New Jersey) Charles and Sharon, I’m happy to see you both, like myself , are so Excited by this particular encounter. Everyone interested in the Bigfoot subject were so fascinated by Ron Morehead’s incredible Sierra Sounds, and rightfully so. Ron managed to record an extended conversation between several Sasquatch that basically proved these creatures have their own language! Not just whistles and woops, but a real language. Now we hear of an encounter where a Sasquatch was communicating with a human! Granted, they were not speaking to one another, but with hand signals and facial expressions , there was without question a back and forth communication ,which is quite remarkable and important, much like the Morehead’s famous recording.
