I spoke with BFRO director Matt Money maker by phone. days later I was one of three people watching listening to the interview. This was personal to me There were tons of people converging on the scene from all parts. This was on the Plum Creek swamp area of Monroe. Historically it wasa place where killings occurred during the war of 1813 River Raisn Massacre of fleeing survivors of the tiny American Frenchtown hamlet overrun by Native Indians and British forces. The May 18, 2025 encounter is roughly 7 miles from the infamous 1965 Monroe Monster encounter that left a 17-year-old Christine Vanacker badly bruised when the beast came out of field on that dark lonely gravel road late one night. The girl accompanied by her mother Ruth Owens, the front seat passenger. Owens says the hairy best came out of the darkeness in to the periphal of the headlights and up to the drivers window.. The car stalled. Christine screamed and fainted, Ms. Owens screamed and the Sasquatch screams and walks off into the darkness. From that point there had two other reports within a five mile radius.Past and Present events mentioned here were very closre to my childhood home. . .

Thanks Gumshoguy for futher validation. I figured they were carp hunting with a bow, with very nearby Lake Erie Carp. I have fished just south of here out of Luna Pier for Walleye a few times. I remember the famous story of Christine Vanacker, somehow I had it in my mind this happened outside of Ann Arbor. Perhaps they were Ann Arbor residents, or I am just wrong. I am a bit surprised that pit bull took after the Bigfoot. It is not often this happens. All in all, quite the day for Ed and Jr., something they will never forget. And coming public, I hope little ridicule.
