It’s a pity Leno did not let her speak as openly as she clearly wanted to, instead cutting her off with his gags. I wonder if she might consider coming onto your show Wes to talk to a more sympathetic and interested interviewer?

Right on Dave, that Jays an idiot. Excellent idea about having her on the show. I’ll bet ya she would be very receptive to the idea.
And it would be a nice change of pace to have someone NOT laugh at her story.

I agree with Dave H. I know Leno’s only “doing his job” by acting like a tool, but this is very annoying for anyone who want to take this seriously.

Wow, I’ve seen this video before and never knew it was captured by her.
There’s no better way to get a man’s attention…”Playboy and Sasquatch” (lol)

BTW, I hate that Leno is trying to undermine the subject…typical!

Yes I saw this video a week or two ago and it was upsetting that Jay Leno treated Ms. Goddard so disrespectfully just to get a laugh. Fun is fun but the whole time she was trying to tell us her story he continued to taunt and interrupt her. Wouldn’t that be something if he gets home late one dark night and has a tall, hairy surprise waiting for him at his house.??? That would make a believer out of him. haha

I remember seeing her on numerous ‘magazine’ shows at the time. They all treated her like Jay did. Real or not they all treated it as a big joke. Its no coincidence I just rediscovered this earlier today. Thanks Wes. Also even if I saw a walking bear I would be like ‘oh look a walking bear. Who knew?’ Big ears. No shoulders. Short ‘arms’.Not bigfoot.

Jay Leno handles this the same way the the national media does. Let’s recap:
    1) Makes fun of the witness
    2) She’s a blond bimbo playmate, so how can her word be trusted
    3) She admits they were drinking beer
    4) Finish up by making fun of Bigfoot in general and bring out a dummy in a BF costume

And people wonder why the subject is not taken seriously…

    Thanks Jay!

Well, I think it was a mistake to bring that to a late night show like that. She would have been better off at a Bigfoot conference than trying to tell her story and be chastised by a bunch of idiots. Constant interruptions and sexual innuendos….I just stopped watching it.

If she did tell her story on here or another podcast, I wonder if the remarks would be more on her story, or still on her? Sounded like an interesting encounter, if she could have told it her way.

Leno is such a poon. The only reason he had this lady on was to make fun of her. Notice he even conveniently has Kevin Nealon on before her. That way he can sit there and snark. Leno’s a POS. He literally stole the Tonight Show from Letterman. He ripped off Howard Stern. He has a reputation among other comedians as being an asshole. Complete tool.

Very nice lady, I feel bad because she was very serious but others were not. She nailed Dr. Jeff Meldrum’s name perfectly. Wes, we need to hear about her experience in video, please!
