News of the strange: The Allagash Incident

In August of 1976, twin brothers Jim and Jack Weiner, along with their two friends Charles Foltz and Charles Rack, headed to the Allagash in Maine for a canoeing and camping trip. One night they experienced an incredible encounter with a UFO. Years later, after the brothers suffered from horrific nightmares, they underwent regression hypnosis. They were regressed separately and most of the men had startling similar recollections of what occurred during the night of the UFO sighting.

Let me preface this by saying, I love being a member and will always be a fan of yours Wes. Bigfoot, dogman, mountain giants and pretty much any other cryptid I can get into. Demonic or paranormal activity, including hauntings or orbs I can get into. UFO’s no sir. Science has proven that without air and water life simply cannot exist. End of story, period. Given that no other planet has air or water, it is virtually impossible that alien life can exist, at least not in our solar system. Now could these aliens come from another galaxy, billions of light years away? Sure, I guess anything is possible, but how likely? Not very, to say the least. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work, sorry for the rant bro.

Bal, talk to a physicist. I think you’ll find their responses about life in the universe intriguing.
I too like all of Wes’ discussions/blogs about the strange. It’s entertaining.

      Hey Bal G,
I won’t tell you what my family and I have seen
when it come’s to UFOs and aliens.
      You would laugh most likely.
      Wes,
I really enjoy all your strange stories including bigfoot and dogman.

Try to keep an open mind. You think people in the past could have compreheded talking to somebody on the other side of our planet with a little square device…etc?
Theres no telling how much more advanced a civilization could be thats thousands or millions of years ahead of us.

DITTO Darren….excellent comment. As we explore Mars and several other life supporting candidates within our own solar system such as some of Jupiter’s and Saturn’s moons to say emphatically that life cannot exist within our own solar system or galaxy is naive. The nearest galaxy, Andromeda, is 2.5 million light years away….not billions and the nearest stars in our own galaxy are Alpha Centauri A and B are under 5 light years away….. Let’s not be soo certain about scientists which, as we have seen from the BF topic l, are far from certain….about anything. We’ve only had electricity for a little over 100 yrs (not even an eye lash width on a geological/evolutionary/ or even biblical time scale) so do not believe for a second that there are many if any “closed cases/absolutes” in the science of 2018.

Well said Christian L. We are finite mortals. Science is evolving and changing all the time. I cannot imagine we our little planet in the whole Universe is the only one with life.

Thanks for posting Wes….like the Travis Walton case these highly educated gentlemen all passed polygraphs. I have no doubt this event happened. Even today 20+ yrs later northern Maine is extremely wild, unpopulated territory.

This is one of the good ones, however there are many. When I read Whitley Strieber’s book Communion in the late 80s, events that had plagued me since my youth, with the first experience while still in the crib, suddenly became a lot more clear. Are these extraterrestrials, another dimension, time travelers from our future, or have they always been on this planet having progressed at a much more advanced rate, ( think Atlantians ) ? Were they the Gods from the past ancient cultures that current science and academia portray as myths? What is their true agenda?

Bal G i’m sorry your saying no other planet has air or water, sorry what science education did you have=stone age?

So how come Mars has got polar regions, um isn’t that water=tick

Uranus has air though not breathable= uh is that air then yes it is.

Ironic really as i think your talking out of your uranus, try to bring yourself into the 21st century, though you may find it hard with this demonic entity called a computer try not to let it lead you into sin as your have to run off and read the good book and pray alot as we all know that really really helps.

C’mon, we don’t have to agree but we should be respectful as the only ones that can post here are members. I personally believe that faster than light travel is a real possibility and that time and space can be manipulated to achieve this but I was a high school drop out so what do/could I know? Anyway these subjects are all “unproven” so skepticism is understandable but the majority of us members are very open minded to new discoveries and ideas but we shouldn’t be surprised or offended when someone doesn’t agree with our ideas.

I read this in Opens Mind magazine many years ago.
I love the art work they share in the magazine
describing what they all went through.
I completely believe these men are telling the truth.

Everyone keeps forgetting the government is at least 30 years ahead of any technology you will ever see,and/or that they will admit to having. Trust me when I say that there are propulsion systems being tested/used that would blow your mind.Gravity, dark matter etc.Im not a big conspiracy guy,but common sense and the unbridled secrecy of the government tells me we have the technology to visit other planets in a reasonable time.. Hell we went to the moon 1/2 a century ago… Or did we?????????
