National Geographic: Evidence of the Yeti

The Yeti or Abominable Snowman is a folkloric ape-like creature taller than an average human, that is said to inhabit the Himalayan mountains. The names Yeti and Meh-Teh are commonly used by the people indigenous to the region, and are part of their history and mythology. Stories of the Yeti first emerged as a facet of Western popular culture in the 19th century.

National Geographic has been everywhere with their funding. I’m sure there a few things their explorers would love to share on the subject- It’d be nice to find a Sherpa to talk with as well…

National Geographic spent the first years of this century doing documentary’s that were highly critical of Sasquatch and Yeti. In this one they used a man, I have forgotten his name, Mark something I believe, who knows next to nothing about the subject. Nat Geo did make one great documentary about a decade ago on the subject and that is the one to see. I believe this to be an out take from the good documentary.
