New research reveals differences between species, described as having their own languages, formed through trains of electricity spikes, with each “language” typically having about 50 trains, equivalent to words.
Computer scientist Andrew Adamatzky from the University of the West of England analyzed electrical activity from four species of fungi and published his findings last Wednesday in the journal Royal Society Open Science. He found that spikes in electrical activity were used by fungi to communicate and transmit information to other fungi in their network.
Underneath each mushroom lies hyphae, which are underground root-like structures that can be likened to nerve cells in the human nervous system. When hyphae form a network, called a mycelium, this can facilitate communication between fungi.

The study found that the spikes in the electrical signals generated by fungi can resemble a language. The spikes can be grouped in to “words” and “sentences,” and according to the study, these fungi can have a vocabulary of up to 50 “words.”
“There’s a big body of evidence that’s growing that these hyphae are sending some kinds of signals between individuals … communicating about where resources are, where the food is, and maybe having tripped-out mushroom-like conversations with each other too,” Technology Specialist Dan Riskin explained.

I’ve never tried any hallucinogenic substances in my life and no desire to. The closest things to mushrooms I’ve ever tried was a vitamin called Lions Mane (it’s to help memory, which I’m lacking in) I took it a few times and can’t say it did anything at all, but it’s probably like any vitamin and requires a constant regimen… honestly, life has already shown me more than enough strangeness without hallucinogens to contemplate anyway.
I believe there’s something natural growing in different forms for everyone’s health and healing, but it’s a knowledge we need to relearn in more depth again. There is also knowledge lost in the spiritual side and connections of nature to itself with us as well. Even simple life forms should be respected and given more credit to as we don’t know everything and shouldn’t parade around on a high horse like we do.
I think a big downfall for most of us is to avoid things we know are bad for us (such as sugar, and it’s effects on blood cells), but it’s everywhere, and in a world pushing us to instant gratification and convenience it’s harder to live right than it is living wrong. All in all, we shouldn’t look to expanding consciousness when we’re still half asleep in the world we already live in. I don’t think we should treat mushrooms like it’s going to be some “BigMac to God”, I believe everything good has a time and a place.
Can you remember a time when you didn’t have as much but appreciated the little things so much more, on a level of “grateful innocence”? I sure do… I really like that place😌

Great post!

Are you sure you haven’t tried any magic mushrooms lately?

Really like your message man!
However I was in the same boat as you until I tried them. Your tapped into something that I can’t explain.
The very statement about being “half asleep in a world we all live in” is very correct. I fully believe in my heart of hearts if every human being on this planet had a couple significant journeys off of a form of plant medicine there would be great change. Expanding consciousness IS a impactful part of bettering ourselves of society but what comes before that is LOVE. That is a reoccurring message in all of my journeys is that love and living in the “now” is insanely important..
I believe there is a handful of people who are slightly tapped into what these odd things can teach us but through meditation and plant medicines we can get further than we know possible. There is just so much to learn as a species but the very infrastructure of our physical world is full of hurdles and weights to hold us down.
Much love to you! Hope your having a good beginning to a new year and thanks for sharing your message brother

Maybe for you. And that’s fine. However shrooms aren’t just about trippin and giggling with your buddies. There is enormous benefits for people who take it. Countless stories of people using this to cure ailments anywhere from depression to debilitating cluster migraines. It has alot of benefits. But even down to its core of taking it to just have a trip experience can be very beneficial in the sense it’s like ayahuasca where you can learn a lot about you and life. Cleansing energy and letting go of trauma. All sorts of stuff. Psychedelics need to stop being under attack and used in the medical field for healing.
