They might want to get into shape with some serious conditioning before taking on that kind of a trip again. This shows just how much wilderness there still is on this planet.

Some places that rent pack llamas have a 1 day course that you can take to get a pack animal handler certificate. Llamas can go a lot of places that horses can’t go. They’re like large dogs.
