Mitch Waite Passed Away

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mitch but I heard he was great researcher and a very nice man. Rest in peace Mitch.

Mitch writes “I continue with the Questions and Answers posed to me by Facebook friends about Bigfoot. These are my own opinions and theories, and you may agree or disagree. That is your choice, Keep in mind, I do not allow comments using profianity, demeaning, belittling or degrading language.”

His youtube adventures were some of the first I ever saw. I’ve followed his progress for years, and can only say that he we will be sorely missed. His planting of apple trees was a gift to all animals, and I do hope that whoever continues will hold to his very scientific approach. I loved seeing him with his microscope in the wilderness, peering at hairs. A lovely human being. Wish I had actually met him, which I do of many of you.

R.I.P. Mitch. I enjoyed watching your videos. Thanks for sharing your research information to everyone who watched. You not only educated people who wanted to do field research by sharing that knowledge, but you also entertained people like me who could not or would not dare step into the woods and put themselves in possible danger. All of us who watched you will miss you dearly.

Remember when Mitch crawled into the large hollowed-out structure and low & behold, there was a juvenile sasquatch curled up at the far end? Squeaker, I believe, is what they eventually called him 🙂 That hairy guy’s out there runnin around somewhere 🙂 Wonderful contributions. Hope your new perspective is just as thrilling Mitch 🙂

I usually try to write something funny in the comment area but not today. I heard of Mitch’s passing and first thought of his wife Susan, his children and his grandchildren, specially his grandson Tritan, who was at Mitch’s side in the last years of Mitch’s research. Mitch was a professional all the way through. He did not tolerate foul language on his YouTube channel so that anyone of any age could follow him. I could not wait for his next video to be up to watch because he almost always had something good to talk about or to show. I hope he found what he was looking for in heaven and will have all his questions answered. I will truly miss Mitch and all his hard work. My best to all his family at this time.

May our Lord bless and keep his family in this time of heartbreak. My prayers are with them. Mitch, at least now you’ll have all the answers to every question ever asked. God speed and Jesus bless those remaining.

I found out Mitch had passed away only hours after he expired. I was just shocked at the news. His daughter had entered a message on facebook making the announcement that he died suddenly & without warning due to a massive heart attack. Mitch was, and always will be one of the very best researchers we had in the field. And he did more of this work and spent more time doing it, than almost any other 3 younger researchers combined, which I always found amazing considering his age and health. Mitch was very friendly and professional, and he did not tolerate any “bigfoot politics” or cussing, belittling or arguing on his youtube channel. He was so sincere, he wanted his channel to be fit for even children, which is more than I can say for many other researchers. Mitch always refused to be drawn into answering questions about “what other researchers were doing or what they believed”. This alone, set Mitch apart from most researchers, and you know who you are, those of you who spend more time ridiculing and perpetuating hoaxes, rather than ignoring such hoaxes and doing your own work. For any new comers to Mitch’s work, I HIGHLY recommend you subscribe to his youtube channel title: “Bigfoot Research” with the 2 words separated in the title. Please try your best to watch ALL his videos, even his older ones, as he has some of the best no-nonsense episodes to be found anywhere. If you do this, you will also become a huge fan and admirer of Mitch Waite. I miss him terribly already. I hope his Grandson Tritan, will get up a couple dedicated partners and continue on where they had just left off only hours or days before Mitch’s untimely death, as MItch would have wanted it that way. Tritan worked with his Grandad long enough to have the experience from Grandpa Mitch, that would surely make Tritan successful. My heart and Prayers go out to Mitch’s family & friends. Rest In Peace Mitch, you now have gone to a good place where surely you now know all the answers for the mysteries of the forest inhabitants you so tirelessly sought. Farewell my Friend.
