Tonight I will be speaking to two witnesses. Ryan is one of my guests tonight and he describes a strange encounter while hunting with his father.
Ryan writes “This happened November 2013 during gun season. Me and my father were in a tiny blind on the edge of a field on our friends property. We left this blind there all year round. The blind was so small that I could not stand up in it, if i wanted to i could touch both sides with my arms spread out. There was a window in the back of the blind as well as the sides, however the sides were closed and the back open. this property is around 10-15,000 acres in a very remote area. If you got lost no one would ever find you type of remote. Beside the field there was a 20 yard spot of trees and behind that a very shallow creek with only about an inch or two of water, on the other side of the creek was more woods and big hill. I have included a horrible MS Paint map of it.
We had always heard weird long vocalizations, like that of the stereotypical sasquatch, usually early in the morning before light. We just brushed it off as coyotes or something else.
Anyways, it was cold and was drizzling freezing rain on and off in the late afternoon. if you notice in the woods its very loud, there’s always birds or squirrels or turkeys making noise…well it got quiet which was odd. As me and my dad were sitting in the blind and we began to hear walking in the creek behind us. It was 100% bipedal, it did not sound like a deer, a very distinct difference.
Next we heard dead trees begin to fall either beside or into the creek. most of these trees were small a couple of inches to about 6 inches in diameter, however its odd because they were pushed down and not just bent. me and my dad started to freak out but kept quiet.
It was at this point whatever the thing was got behind our blind, it had to have been maybe 20 or 30 feet away, and it got vocal. The only way i can describe the vocalizations was of weird broken asian type sounds. It was very guttural and it honestly sounded pissed off. I have tried to recreate the sounds when i called into the Expanded Perspectives show last year.
Me and my dad were scared shitless. Even though the blind back was open me and him did not turn around. I honestly didn’t want the thing to know I was there or see me and was scared for our lives.
After this the thing walked back either up the hill or back the way it came. The whole incident lasted around 5 minutes but it seemed like an hour. We stayed and hunted for the next hour or so and then went back to camp. the next day we did go back to the site to see if we could see foot prints or damage. Thats when we found the trees, however no footprints as the place was inches deep with dead wet leaves.
Weve been back a couple times to the same place, but I always look now just in case.”

I can’t believe they stayed. And I can’t believe they went back.

Hope it becomes an episode. I think the language aspect is fascinating.

Ive heard the “language” fairly close also…i felt like i was getting a ass chewing from a huge asian man…to me it sounded close to native american language mixed with asian.

This is so fascinating Dan D. An Asian dialect with Native American Language. It makes me wonder if this Asian sound ( which is so very evident in the Sierra Sounds ) is based on the theory that the Sasquatch crossed the Bearing Straits in the last Ice Age bringing this with them. However the language may have evolved into Native American Language as they intermingled with the original Native American Peoples thousands of years ago and then this spread throughout the continent. Janice Carter wrote that her Grandfather Robert Carter Sr. said their language is based off the Cree Language, which at one time was the most widely spoken language in North America. Robert had spent some of his early years with these people. The Cree were the Northern Tribes west of Superior in which the Sasquatch would have come in contact with first.
