2012 Cottage Grove Lake in Winter, across from Shortridge. I have spent many years of my life in this area. My family lives below CG Lake. Big River was our playground:-)
1st- Sharps Creek campground, a friend seen it too. I explained it away and didn’t understand what my friend meant by, “Old man if the woods,”. I found a reported sighting at the same spot from @ 10 years earlier. (I seen this around 1997/98)
2nd-Just south of the junction of Highways 58 and 97 maybe an hour before daylight, I have no explanation for what ran in front of my truck or how I did not hit it. I was driving a ’92 F 150 4x which sat pretty high, it almost filled the whole windshield. It had red/brown hair, 5-8 inches long and flowing.
It was much too tall to be a bear and the hair was too long, and the wrong color, to be an elk or deer. (Fall of 1999)I never thought of Sasq. until a couple of years ago when a life-altering experience happened; then a couple of other odd occurences flooded back into my memory. I have been searching for answers since.
